Just did this image. Modelled in SU based an apartment block be Le Corbusier. I gave it some heavy patina and an unusual composition. Rendered in TM no post prouction.

I have had a bad run in the health department for the past 10 years
Heart attack
Open heart surgery
Renal cancer operation within the month of the open heart surgery
Stroke
Vestibular migraine (4 years constant and undiagnosed and unpleasant)
Diagnosed with prostate cancer 1 week ago (prob wont die of it, but with it fortunately)

Why am I sharing this?
Well there is a chemical (Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) or PFAS. this chemical does not occur in nature and was, I believe, invented by 3M in the 1930's.
In my first 8 years of work I was a firefighter. Seems I/we were exposed to massive amounts of this chemical as it was in our fire fighting foam 3M (AFFF) we would do a foam test with this substance every day and I would fill up the foam tank every day it would glob up and hit us in the face and mouth. Additionally we would use it to wash our dishes. I have been covered from head to toe in this stuff and know what it tastes like.
Anyway it seems this stuff is in a lot of stuff including Scotchguard fabric protector amongst many other products. PFAS is known as the forever molecule because it will NEVER break down. It is now in groundwater and the Oceans
Just thought I would do my bit to educate others.

I have posted something similar lately but deleted the post (Long story) anyway I have posted an image of a model I made in 1985. I was a response to a brief '" Explore how we form relationships with objects" Being 1984 we were also discovering how wasteful we are. We were asked to create a work of "conceptual design" I chose to make a model of an am radio utilising the many AM radios that were going to landfill from wrecked or redundant cars. The radio was to look human made and only had two knobs one for volume and the other for tuning. There are no markings as experience with using the radio you will build the human to object relationship (Intimacy) The work used am an Am radio I got from a wrecker, I just rewired the controls and gave it a 12v power supply. radios from old cars where the radio circuitry from the old radio would be used to build !
I find it interesting that this new design is completely original and is not derivative of anything aesthetic. And therefore completely original.
The image of the original radio was a good image but looks bad as i took it with my phone and is out of focus.

Trump has put tariffs on imports. What do you think of that? do you understand the economic reality of that? he puts 25% on Canada (for instance) Canada exports aluminium gas, oil and other thing including electricity. The US has a shortfall of 18% for gas and oil which is supplied by Canada. Canada has withdrawn that supply, and is selling it to other counties Like Japan without tariffs, that does not hurt Canada in any way. They are selling all there oil, no problem. The US has tried to get that oil, gas from Saudi Arabia. They told him to F off. So due to the laws of supply&demand The price of oil, gas and energy in the US will go up, that will cause inflation in many ways, If normal economics will play out which is a way to control inflation. mortgages will go up by this mechanism people will not be able to afford due general inflation that will cause banks to be unstable causing economic uncertainty. Canada is still fine. Food will go through the roof because the farmers cant get the crops picked because immigrants would do that job for $6 an hour, crops are rotting on the the vines. And the little that does make it to the shelves will be crazy high as they would have to mark them up again because the cost of picking has gone up and again the supply and demand mechanism. cost of living goes up again. With food, if you have to import some because of shortages in the US you will be paying a 25% increase due the the tariffs fuel prices in the US go up so transport costs will be higher. Canada has cancelled its 30Billion purchase of F35's. And will probably buy the Swedish grippen. That 30Billion will go from Canada to the EU. Other countries ar cancelling sales of the F35's as the world now considers the US as an "unreliable Partner" So spare parts my not become available. Other Countries around the world are boycotting the US and aligning together against the US, You have no friends and broke. Your unemployment will go through the , with you economy in ruins. Anything that you do export will have a 25% retaliatory tarrif slapped on it further crashing your economy. Trump is creating the perfect financial storm. So trumps motivation for tanking you economy is either he is stupid and ignorant Or some speculate he is tanking it on purpose so he and billionaires can by up big on the failing stock market at rock bottom prices. and wait till the market eventually improve and they will be Trillionaires. US will be a failed state run by oligarchs. U.S. stock market loses $5 trillion in value in three weeks.

Hi guys I have a funny story, I was thinking about Aprils fools day which reminded me of one of a very funny thing that I witnessed some years ago

I was working as a Landscape Architect in a planing department for local government. I reported to Robert who was the Director of Planning. Behind where Roberts chair was a wall covered with all his accomplishment. Bachelor of planning, masters degree in planning etc, etc he had about 15 of them. He went away on a course for a week. Somebody (Ian a planning officer) took all his apart and modified the certificates and in photoshop he would change his "planning degree" to award for 'swimming 25 meters with using floaties" and changed all of them with trivial thing like that, you get the message. anyway Robert and did not notice. Ne did not notice for nearly 3 months. He had some very important people such as state ministers and even the state Premier. On day Robert PA was sitting in Roberts office taking notes as she did often, one day whilst taking dictation the PA looked at the certificates on the wall, and said, Robert..............robert turned in his chai

One more thing in"tariff negotiations" Vietnam will fast track trumps building permit for a 1.5 Billion resort in Vietnam, stuff just gets crazier

Thought I would try something out of my comfort zone. I modelled the staircase based on an image I saw, with Sketchup and rendered in TM. Lighting was tricky for me

One thing that is an issue with this arch vis work is that there are companies like fiverr etc,that is a multi national site. There are with a people that do modelling, rendering graphic design, logo design etc, etc. There are thousands of them. Some of these people will work for very little money and will do a project for the equivalent of 5 dollars an hour, And they are making money where cost of living is so low and the exchange rate is very favourable. Then there are agents working in most countries like Australia an Australian company, where you can go to the agent and get a SU model of a house for 450 Aussie dollars. They have subcontractors from Vietnam, Philippines, Bangladesh etc that will supply SU models for around a hundred dollars.the Australian company will quality control the model and on sell it for $450 AUD. The people in the aforementioned counties are living well and no reasonable person could blame them.
