RE: How Does One Get Rendering and 3D Work In These Fields?
you can convert SketchUp's SKP files to Blender. You can either use the built-in SKP importer in Blender or export the model from SketchUp in a compatible format like Collada (DAE), OBJ, or FBX, then import that into Blender.

RE: My Architect ai.
@pixelcruncher said in My Architect ai.:
Thanks for sharing @Mike-Amos - It's a brave new world.
I wonder how many users are ditching rendering solutions and are going for AI rendering. The results they show are great; I only wonder if it can consistently produce such good results.
This tech is AI and constantly learning. As far as "consistency" we are just scratching the surface. Ai is in a learning phase what it will produce images of stunning quality. Pointless for me to hope that Ai design and rendering would disappear, but it wont. It will just get better and better and I do not think the "improvements in AI will not be linear

Hi Guys, just did a render using a model from 3D warehouse (Desired space) The garden plants may look strange but I used plants native to West Australia a very remote place so have been isolated and evolved for millions of years. It is a western Australian

Thanks to you all, I am mainly interested In non organic architecture and don't do much organic modelling but I learnt a lot from this thread, thanks again

I did the render again as i had issues with light not being aligned with source, tree branches trough windows carpet not grounded windows not aligned with concrete panel

RE: Another Machinist's Model of a Steam Engine.
Great work, Dave, those machines were state of the art when they were invented. I have attached an image of a Quantum computer. Therefore state of the art today. When I say computer 99.9% of it is just for cooling the chip is about50x50x10mm. Here is a link to the model

Love the heart mate. I spent a lot of time looking at diagrams/images of the heart and details during my training and your image is a great representation. On the ball mate.

RE: Orgelf's works. second topic.
I asked my nurse about the video A few days later. She sked me if I had seen highlights of the vid I said no. She told me that there was a part where me beating heart was in the blue gloved hand of the surgeon it was till beating ( normally the have heart lung bypass to stop the heart and lungs beating to make the surgery easier) but they did me "off pump" anyway was explains the that if you turn the heart like this it will stop beating. and it stopped then he turned it back and it started again. How much skill does that man have? mind blowing stuff, just a normal days work.............
