Got it...After 6 hours of learn caustic and try make this water render...

Hello:

I try the settings that I read in the web in some tutorial but I have no luck what so ever in the final render. I learn Caustic now but I want the same results as the render final I will ad later caustic. I just want to see the same bumps that I missing. Also the color is not right for some reason. VR 1.48.89 Sketchup 8 Pro, Windows 7 - 64.

I post the model and some samples for help.

Simple as is Sketchup is a 32 bit aplication instead 64, that just tell you something, double of speed, process, big models support, and in renders just refer VRAY how limited is, or for example try to do Grass in Sketchup that looks real...

I do a little research and It would be great if Sketchup was also 64 so we can solve many problems that the render engines have because the limitations of sketchup. Does any have any Idea if they have plans for build a version for 64 bit?.

Thank you for a quick response, you always help people. I sign up for a beta tester too and I have installed .96 and all went well but in some point stop to work so I uninstall all and reinstalled all again. After that I have no clue why the material editor for sketchup crash. One thing is work, when I ad material from outside of Sketchup there is not problem, but in some materials in the editor (come with Sketchup) just crash all Sketchup.

Is any beta better that the purchase verion that you recomended? like .93 or .96 or .98?

I run Sketchup 8 pro and I have a Beta of Vray after I purchase the soft I uninstall the trial and put all the full version 1.48.89 and as soon I installed, I try to apply some materials to a pool and Sketchup Crash. I made my comments to Asgvis and I have not response yet, but maybe someone have the same issue. Is not all the materials, some materials just crash Sketchup 8 Pro. I know is Vray because when i uninstalled the soft, Sketchup back to normal so Any news about this issue. At least I want to know if someone has the same trouble.

This is an update in Vray, PH. not quite there...

I use displacement (2) and I invert the Image in PH and use levels to adapt the contrast to create the bump map.

Eli and his foloowers,

I have PM messages from Eli says that nothing is for free, so you can figure out, just translate that for me. I do not respond all the messages in the original post so some of his responses are there all my are almost in PM messages.I will not apologize to him or any others that thinking in this way. I ask many times in PM messages to explain better and he refuse to do more explanation. So I move in this matter, forgot eli and what ever guy that follow and I will continue looking for a method to create that wall block. I am kind of tired to see who say he say, just put your method or questions or comments that are value. I thank you the people to take their time and effort to create a simple method for this post.

I work on Vray and PS maybe I can get the effect in the render with displacement instead the 3D model.

PS: For all that see the "Free cookie" thing, If I want that, I am a member of "Formfonts" for years and I can ask them to create the model for me, but I rather learn.

I Use thomthoms Bitmap to Mesh also and I came to the almost the same model that you show but I will keep looking for a different way. I hope all we understand ELI's way. I keep try. When I will arrive to the closest way to create the original model I will make a Step by Step tutorial for all. I am not selling 3D models, I am an Architect.

This is an option from someone who has knowledge of plugins and techniques etc... We need to know kalu's user level so we can help from that level.

I understand kalu frustration, but not his outburst? Eli's a valued member and invested time and effort to produce the model, plus offered to help kalu? Most of us see the challenge but not user's problem...

As I say to you I put 2 days in this without any good Idea and I tell Eli that I have no clue about the process and he only made bad comments about me tell me that I am lazy. When I ask for the process he just ask for money, so I do not understand where he stand in the process to learn.

I email back and forward with Eli and he only want to show that he can make it, for the rest of us we are looking to understand hies way. If you are so smart replicate his model and share with all, after all as I explain to him I do not paid for money for models in Sketchup forum because is not what I try to accomplish. I share and learn at the same time. Better, make a step by step tutorial so all can make the same 3d as the Image that I posted originally. I ask for a clear process in "ENGLISH". I think this kid "eli" need to learn a couple of things related to the whole basic Idea of what is it a "forum".

Sorry do I miss something here?... I do not ask for a free model. I've looking for a method to create the same result of the image. What I got is a "Romanian way" explain in romanian witch almost all of us does not understand and some very helpful comments of some way to createe the model. Sorry "ely862me" I have no money for you, this is a forum to share knowledge no to show who is the only one can make a model. I contribute for some time in the forum but you can keep your precious model for you, I hope you can sell it. I don't think that is a lot room for you here in this forum for share.

If you want to be consider in this forum, ask questions and "share" maybe does not exist that word in your language? or yes?
