- [Mac] erratic crash when editing with MatLab while IR Overlay running fixed
- some users have had issue with stopping a render - this may be fixed, but I cannot tell as I couldn't replicate it myself
Improvements:
- custom SU view aspect ratio is supported now
Known issues:
- [Mac] There is a know conflict with 'Vray for SketchUp' installation
Have you yet make a bug report at Thea4SU forum? If not, please do so. You may also want to subscribe on "Versions & Resources (SketchUp)" -forum http://www.thearender.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=81

RE: Lighting

This was just a quickie in Kerkythea. It ran while I was shaving. I didn't spend any time on the materials because your materials need help anyway and very little time was spent on setting up the three lights. The two in front need a little attention to get some better modeling inside the boxes but that is trivial.
[attachment=0:32czrko0]<!-- ia0 -->Carts.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:32czrko0]You may have to accept that your computer just isn't up to the task of doing the rendering. Perhaps you need to upgrade your graphics card.
Indeed, even the model is a bit mess, it can be used for rendering (tested with Thea). Wonder what's the used GPU (if any), or are you using some integrated graphics. For me error give a impression that used GPU has no proper OpenGL support.

From kickstarter: ASMO β Smart charger for smart people
I did happen to spot this "World's first mobile phone charger that switches automatically off when you unplug your phone - and back on, when you reattach it!"

RE: FOR 3D RENDERING

I suggest you change GPU with this one http://www.legitreviews.com/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-760-4gb-video-card-review-2gb-4gb_129062, so you can use Thea Presto render engine inside SketchUP.
You will thank me later
For rendering, GTX 760 4GB sounds a good deal, but I'd probably look on a model that exhaust heat outside the case (more closed heat sink). For me it looks like this card may exhaust most heat inside the case. As all parts of system must stay cool, there is a risk that heat inside the case jumps too high. Maybe PSU will then get too warm air and it's fan will spin up... in a worst case PSU's performance will drop and you get odd system issues.

RE: From vray to thea?! thea thea!!!!!
There been some suspects that if both vray for SU and Thea for SU are installed there is change for a crash (maybe observers do not play well). Anyhow... about the crash, you really should post a detailed bug report at Thea forums (if you not already have done so); used software version (su, thea & vray..., os, hardware specks, gpu drivers and so) so that Tomasz can take a look on this.

RE: Best GPU for Sketchup + Thea GPU Rendering?

Can someone explain why AMD is not mentioned in this discussion?
Maybe because the topic is "Best GPU for Sketchup + Thea GPU Rendering?". At the moment Thea GPU rendering is build with CUDA, so AMD GPU is not a option (until a OpenCL version of Thea is made).
