This post might be out of place but I think U guys might be able to help me.
I have a rather large Evermotion collection and wonder how to export an object from 3d max to SU and keep the texture in place.
When i today try to export to 3DS, and import it in SU there is no texture on the object. i try to export to .OBJ but then SU locks up due to the file size (Ive used object importer 1.3) Even when i download 3ds models from the web with the textures in the same folder as the model i still dont get them on the object. what do i do wrong here ?? plz help me out

would it be possible to add properties to the profile ?? a.iI have a aluminum profile then i could add the aluminium name AL8365 and the weight of the material. out of this i have what i need to get the weight rapport of the structure.
lenght x volume x weight = kg/m
i can do this now by using the rapport but i have to do the math, but i wonder if this could be integrated ???

I think there might be a problem with FFD an ASGVIS V-ray for scetchup.. FFD did not work while i had V-ray installed but now that i have uninstalled V-ray FFD works fine again.. Same problem as with subdivide and smooth script..
can anyone else confirm this ?? Btw, FFD is a brilliant script. 
What I`m thinking is to morph, transform, change the shape of the geometry.. I know it might be on the very edge of what SU could preform. But to make an example of what i could use is: A plugin/script that could "record" the transformation using FFD from one scene to another... that would be more that sufficient for my needs.. I would really make my day

Dont know if this is the right place for this question but i take a chance. Are there by any chance a script or a plugin that can help with animation of geometry ?? I dont mean moving it in a animation but changing the geometry from one scene to another. Like the animation of a figure walking.

Is it possible to create a importer for Sat files and/or step files. Sure would be nice to do that.. Maybe some of the Ruby wizzards could answer that
