I guess you're right, Coen, it's better on than off. Still, but what's the difficulty of programming the option key, as it is programmed in Move, for example? Except keep it sticky, so that once it's engaged it stays that way until turned off.

Wow, that little trick ("option click" on my Mac) is great. Thanks. I would normally start with the floor plan, but in this case I don't know, and don't need to know, the exact size of the building or its height, just the critical dimensions around this wall, chimney and roof. I figured it would be easier if I could just draw the important stuff and let the rest sort itself out. Best, Jim

Unfortunately even when the option Jame mentioned is turned ON, the continuous line drawing wont go on when you have just finished to close a face for instance and there is no way you can force/encourage/suggest/hint SU to continue drawing.

Gotcha. That's why some of the icons were not at first showing up, I'd left them in their parent folder in the original Ruby folder. Now hat I've moved the parent into Plugins, they work. If anyone can follow that convoluted English. I've also discovered the embedded tutorials, usually in the Directory folder, which certainly help— they include explanations of where the files go.
