In 3D Maybe use Artisan or SubD for subdivide them but you must have principally "Quads"

In 2D you can use some Fredo tools (Beziers SPlines) for subdivide curves!
Then Extrude with JointPushPull for some variety of 3D results 😄

About your query, unless you thicken the lines out manually (or with the help of some extension), I don't think you can do what you require straight from SU.

You can also draw the whole thing quickly with the Spirix plugin.

The 'SketchUcation Toolset' also has an 'Uninstaller' in its submenu.

If you use that tool it renames the 'loader' .RB in your Plugins folder as .RBX so it then no longer loads or even gets listed in the disabled plugins in the 'SketchUcation Plugins Manager'.
Provided that the RBX still exists it appears in the 'Unistaller' dialog and can be 'reinstalled' if desired.

However if you open your Plugins folder [also possible by using the SketchUcation Toolset's submenu item] and find the now uninstalled RBX version and delete that file it's no longer listed.
For tidiness you might also want to find any matching subfolder using the same name [common in many newer Extensions], and delete that too...

Of course, to see these changes you'll need to restart SketchUp, because dynamic unloading an extension etc is NOT possible within a current session...

Pick the image, not the object.

Saving the scene allows you to not go through this each time.

You are correct, terrible job on my part trying to explain;
For 32 float, you have 1 sign bit, 8 mantissa bits and 23 significant bits but because way the sign used significant bits is 24. The decimal equivalent digits for 24 bits is 7.2+ digits. Thus you see the basis of the display I was discussing earlier. Using an online converter 0.35 converts to .3499999994039..... and 0.4 to .40000000596046.... and rounding is done for those to read .35...... and .40......... and has nothing to change the precision use internal to the machine. Why the OP machine changes .35 to .40 I can only guess, but if a generic SU issue that would have many more folks flagging the problem so => probably issue with his machine or its operating system. There is zero info provided for it so no further action can be done except by the op.

Unfortunately .ai file is not a support export format.
Also .pdf export is only available on MAC...
So it you are on a PC, then I suggest you use Slicer5 to export as .png files, then batch post-process those files in a 3rd party app to make .pdf files [several free online converters are available...]...

I just want to add a feature of Artisan which is pretty hidden in plain sight.

With this method you would always keep a copy of the proxy object and have it control the resulting mesh.

@Involute: I hadn't thought of you having layers turned off.

You might find the Purge All plugin to be a useful thing. You can set up a keyboard shortcut for it and it'll give you a report of what got purged.
