I think the handle is a little bit too small.
Or the blade and shield are too big, take a pick πŸ˜„

But, besides that, the model is pretty decent!

And a tip: if this really took you 7 hours, you should look in the ruby section on this forum. There are some great scripts there that will probably get your modeling time for this under an hour πŸ‘

      I like the worms Pete!

It comes pretty close tho the 'real' thing

btw, the wall is just a simple image, am I right? You can see the photoshop eraser parts πŸ˜„

    • RE: Bonzai 1.0 is released

that is a pretty good idea Coen! πŸ‘

I'd like to add these options though:

      • All scripts should be modified so that they appear both in the '/view/toolbars/' and '/plugins/' menu with a representative name

      • Under the '/help/about plugins... ' There should be info on the script popping up in a new window expaining how to work with it; giving info on the author; maybe link to Sketchucation for more info?

These option should make it look more like one Sketchup 7.x overhaul instead of some software installing several scripts.

    • How to fix this?

I am working on a model for some weeks now and somewhere along the way it decided to do this when zooming in on something:

      [attachment=0:iq1zcfcy]<!-- ia0 -->bug.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:iq1zcfcy]

This is extremely annoying but I don't know how to get rid of it.

Nice Hugo, what app did you use to render?

I went the easy way πŸ˜• Hypershot πŸ˜„
Tried it in Vray, but for some reason it rendered with artifacts

    • RE: New toy alert!!

I don't know... Somehow I believe that with a normal space navigator and some handy shortcuts you get pretty much the same workflow...

The option to check your mail on the tiny screen instead of your 22' screen is a big plus though! πŸ˜„

How difficult would it be to make a script that renders the model uneditable?, making it a locked component that cannot be unlocked without a password?

Don't think that's possible, since it probably needs a .rb file to work [password data]. You could ask the receiving party to first install the .rb and then open the model and hope they fall for that πŸ˜„

    • RE: Professional Courtesy for 3D Warehouse Models

I would lose the 'accusing' tone since he is not really doing anything wrong. Maybe he want's to keep his homepage clean I don't know, but since he is crediting you on the forums I would keep it at an informing email pointing him to the fact that it would be nice to have your name under it.

Hope this helps you to decide πŸ˜„
