lol, j.k. looks really good!

it probably isn't a bug or other fields would have the same issue. if the default is a comma decimal symbol and the other fields are responding correctly and you don't have a type assigned like text versus decimal number etc, i'm not sure what could be the issue.
have you tried 10,8 in the field? maybe if that works, then maybe there is a bug - then change 60,5 to 6,5 and see if the number is merged. if so, maybe values less than 10 cause the decimal to merge on the mac orr on systems using "comma" as the decimal symbol.
thanks! this will be handy as i design a lot of studio where the isolation structure has to be separated from the exterior and custom columns and sizing it for that critical 2" separation, using i-beams and glulams, when using autogenerated walls etc will make this much easier to draw and document
yes, or even just have a column type of "blank" (or simply marker) in the selection list (along with x dia round steel, x by x wood, etc)
this way the code is effectively the same, just whether or not the spacing has anything other than say a 2D marker of the column location.
one thing i recently ran into was needed a steel column to support a steel beam spanning a couple of walls to get the proper support for ceiling joists. it would be a nice option (not necessarily to provide a steel column in leiu of a wood one
) but just to leave the space for easily adding one separately (and thus avoiding closing it etc when regenerating due to a wall change).
cheers!

Have you seen Sketch-Cuisine ? Good for any kink of cabinets.

i have, and if i did kitchen design it would be in my plugin set, but i do recording studio design so it's only marginally helpful as if i'm doing any "lounging" or snack space, i'm only drawing a small basic setup for the owner to sort out.
crikey! he built the gnarly thing!
nice work all around!

Thanks Bryan. I never have a chance to do architecture like this for work. Getting rendering works seems to be next to impossible if they're not being cheap and think a couple of hundred bucks is adequate compensation. Maybe I need an agent.
yeah the main problem is someone can offshore this work easily. so you're competing for the actual work and if you're in a G20 country you will not make [much] money doing it. what you want to do, is "be the agent". do some preliminary prep, offshore it, final tweaks + package the results.
or simply do it because you love it and damn the money!
maybe collapse the wall sheathing section as well so it's only opened if you need to edit it.
if the imported objects are "solids" then you could use "outer shell".

oh, you meant using SU to create a model of the bag, erm, not the model holding the bag... never mind...

may be the recursion?

could you also do a 10 year? i'm pretty sure i'll be gone in 8...
in the example - you have "pro" checked under hobby
but what should be check is the ability to use extensions (plugins). so a desktop version, not pro (so no layout etc) with ability to run extensions (creating DC would be nice as well but ...)
