BUT if you have edited and painted faces inside an imported component-definition... and then you reload that definition the earlier 'unpainted' version is reimported, and so your changes are lost ???

can u give examples for the effect for with and without the effect of camera > film width
camera > focal length in vray

figured it out. i just need to rotate my face/object to be oriented with the axis. then i can hit rantexpos and it aligns them in the other way. thanks again for your help.
