File size is misleading. I've had a 10kb file run out of memory. SketchUp stores texture information in the scene, compresses some things, doesn't compress other things. Don't worry about the file size, that's not the issue. Memory usage is all you should need to worry about.

I'm using VRay 2.0 and Sketchup 2013 and I'm trying to render a medium size file (around 25mb) in a high output quality (3000x2250) but everytime it crashes. I know sketchup is a 32 bit program and it uses only 3.5gb of ram.
how much ram is being used?
@unknownuser said:
- Increase you Dynamic Memory limit
the dynamic memory limit is in place, to avoid using too much memory while rendering dynamic geometry (displacement, proxies, etc). Raising this value is going to give V-Ray the green light to use MORE ram, not less...

I already tried to purge my model (lines, faces, materials...), to render in .VRimg .EXR and .hdr (with and without the preview window) and it keeps crashing.]

- Try rendering using 64 bit using the local Spawner technique.
