Wow, simply incredible. With detail like this there must be one in his garage that needs put back together.
(indeed great model)

yes, that also but mainly a workflow tutorial about, starting a project in sketchup, texturing and putting the cameras then go to max for rendering and adding details, then go back to sketchup change some stuff and update this in the 3dsmax scene (if possible).
or just a video where we can follow your scene construction all along the way and so learn from your workflow, that would be great
yes that's the main reason why I want to learn max, the polycount limit of sketchup
It would be great to have this! I'm just starting to learn 3dsmax and want to do modelling in sketchup and the texturing, lighting, ... in 3dsmax

Yeah !
Finally we won something ! Is there a prize ? ( a governement ? a national soccer team that can actually qualify for a championship ? a crown prince with an IQ over 75 ?)
(This is even better than our victory on the eurovision songcontest somewhere in the eighties)
Belgium, land of surrealism ...
Flapsy
(Nevertheless, it's a great place to live though ...)
that's what I call Belgian spirit!
I don't think our country will disappear, we have to much to loose if we do that..
@ Alan: very good choice indeed
belgium not cool? Where do you find the best beer in the world then?
But it's true, so much people don't even know about Belgium, they know Brussels, but not belgium pretty weird
great idea, I wanted this for a long time in sketchup!
How is that possible?!
bravo
will there be a demo too?
nice to hear! hope to see some rendered livecubes
ok so it looks like it's better than I thought, mmmh I'm tempted but as student I think it's still a little expensive for something I will not use everyday. Thanks Gaieus!
thanks gaieus for this little test, it's still not revolutionary I would say, maybe with more time you could achieve better results. Can you choose between multiple presets for the environment or you have just one? Can you render movies or is it only for realtime presentations to move around in your model?
yes indeed, it looks like they have something to hide
I'm sorry to hear that, I keep thinking it's strange to not release a demo of the soft to try before buying, anyway I hope your problem will get solved quickly.
Do you guys have something rendered in lumenrt you can show us? I would love to see something made by real users, not those demo stuff
Thanks!
I have a firepro v5800 that I just put yesterday in my computer, so far I have no problems with it, (only tested in sketchup, thea and twinmotion) but I don't see any difference between this one and my old 9800 gt gainward, so I don't know if it's worth getting a good graphic card these days, maybe for programs asking more of the graphic card like 3dsmax (maybe?)
thanks Tig, You're right I need to clean all those unneeded plugins away but.. I can't choose, sometimes I forget about a plug and I'm happy to find it back in my toolbar. it's a difficult choice and I can't delete them or put them away. even if I should, I know, but it's just impossible for me to keep some plugins and move others, you never know when you will need it (that's how I think). Thanks for your help!
I have found the solution; just closed and opened sketchup and it worked like before, sorry for my stupid question
TIG you really save me a lot of time with this plugin! thanks again!
It certainly something I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to make it work on this model again, first it worked with that component but after some time I have a grey menu for hole punching, I don't know what I'm doing wrong...
