If you don't have Photoshop or other such program to create an arch texture....

Here's a tutorial for creating an accruate brick arch with the joints radiating from the center. It's fairly easy, but time consuming, tedious perhaps. This is really only good for close-up shots. If the brick coursing of the arch won't be noticeable in your presentation, I wouldn't bother.

I ran into the same thing - maximum file size 19kb. When i reduced my image down to that size, it was rediculously small.

I noticed, when loading my avator, the mouse cursor didn't change when placed over the "browse" button. Took me a bit to realize it still worked. Other than that it looks great.

ACME brick has a free brick design program, which includes some concrete block. If you haven't already used it, you might want to check it out.

That is weird. I noticed when all the doors were moved away from the black cabinet, they appeared the same. I also noticed that when copying the "darker" doors they turned lighter. When copying the components to another file, I couldn't recreate teh same effect. I did create my own door component and it appeared even lighter then the other two. Then I copied the black cabinet to another file, deleted it from the original, and reloaded it; all the doors appeared the same.

I've recently come across the same problem trying to export a very large image. I don't thnk it is a memory problem on my machine, but not sure. If you find out anything, I'd love to know it.

Tinane, I've encountered the same problem with disappearing textures. Its usually in grouped items (especially nested groups). Don't feel so bad about your render time. My first real rendering took over three days - but everyone said it looked great! LOL

You should post your rendering in the gallery forum, when finished.
