Correct I am running 64 bit Podium v2.8 and it does not render within SketchUp.
The computer i have for rendering is specifically design for crunching numbers and rendering, only thing it needs is a better GPU (which im working on) in the hopes to be using Lumion, just need to get work to sign off on it.

I will get in contact with Podium to see what the problem could be, I might try rendering a basic model and see how large i can go though

Installing Kerkythea 64bit was a little tricky as not all the files actually get installed but once it is and you render in it, it flys compared to the 32bit version!

well i did send in an error report and i think i asked for a t-shirt but have not heard back from them yet.

im still holding onto hope that ill get some sort of reply

Well there you go. If I had of seen that thread earlier then I wouldnt have been so surprised about 14.7 million edges. (I am trying to double that atm though 😄 )

I'm going to try out the Susan challenge and see what I get as well.
I'm still quite surprised though as the card that is running in that machine that I used for this file is actually pretty crap.

Just thought id give you all an update, got 2 new computers (one just for renders) and vray now seems to work for me all fine on both computers 😄

I would love to share some of my work and inlighten some of you in the way that i use SU however due to the nature of my job, the majority of projects that i work on have some form of confidentiality and i actually cannot share them until they are made public by my clients 😞
Once they are public i will try and link through their location so that you can all have a quick look though.

for a quick run down i pretty much use SU to make a base model and get my perspective right, export the image and then photoshop part of the 3d model into an existing photo so that you can get an idea of what the landscape will look like once said project is build. wheather it be buildings, train stations, dams, mines, rail lines pretty much anything. Thats just one way that i use SU.
The other way is to make conceptual type models that are rended out using podium (hopefully v-ray soon though)
