RE: Profile Builder released!

Great Wheel tutorial....but...
On the link below, it shows how to make a tire. The method of push pulling up a tapered tread is done too fast. Any idea how ALL the faces were selected and pulled up with a taper?
Thanks,

RE: [Plugin] BoolTools just released!
I'm not sure why, but I still get some missing faces when I try to do a drill bit. I match the segments in the helix and the cylinder. I build it large so I can scale down....same result. Very frustrating. Could there be any issues with other rubies effecting the ones I use for this process? The gray hair just keeps coming as I keep trying to figure it out. HELPPPPPP!

RE: [Plugin] BoolTools just released!
Wondering....does the precision of the helix and the edge count need to be at a certain amount or do they need to match?

RE: [Plugin] BoolTools just released!
Hey Gus,
For your first Tutorial, really good! It helped for sure. Also, I'm going to get that ruby you used to make the helix a tube. That's for that too

RE: *Yawn* Alternatives to SketchUp
Hi Tim,
A good friend of mine uses Turbocad. I've watched him use it and tried it myself but didn't get to involved in it. If given more time, i would think it looks fairly easy to learn and the price seems fair. Have you checked it out before? The same friend also uses Google Sketchup but he hasn't lately. Old habits I guess...Good luck with the findings...
