Best File Type to Export as for CNC Cutting?
Hello guys and gals,
I have designed a kiosk that I plan on having all the parts cut by a CNC Router. Any advice on the best file type to export it as? I know EPS doesn't export to the proper size and scale. Thanks in advance.

Walk through tutorial...looking for a good one.
Hello Everyone,
Been awhile since I've been here. I have a customer that would like a "Walk through" presentation of an interior scene that is focused around a custom staircase they'd like built. I've never used the feature before so to avoid punching my monitor out of frustration by trying to learn it myself, I would love to get a hold of a good video tutorial that walks me through the process(excuse the pun). Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: Internal Rendering
Thanks for replying to Stephen Vidy,
I just upgraded to the latest VRay version and was getting very frustrated with the renders coming out way too bright. The physical camera was not on. Thanks. Love this site!

RE: Polycarbonate
Your picture shows the Polycarbonate glazing which is a twinwall sheet made from PC( I use to sell this stuff). Have you tried modelling the sheet and using glass type materials in Vray? Maybe add a very light purple tint fog to the material?

RE: Ivy
Can anyone provide any testimonial for this Ivy Generator? I have downloaded so many programs that don't live up to the expectations of the software provider. No disrespect intended. Does this work well with Sketchup or is it kind of hit and miss?
Thanks,

[REQ] Draw rectangle/square from center or center of edge
I haven't been on for awhile so I hope I don't embarrass myself with this post. Is there a ruby that allows you to draw a square or rectangle from the center (like the draw circle) or from the center of the edge?
Thanks,
Jeff

RE: Bar Codes on Sites?
Hello yet again,
Here is one site to get the QR Code reader for your phone:
http://www.i-nigma.com/Downloadi-nigmaReader.html
And here is a site to generate the code.
It's really easy.

RE: Bar Codes on Sites?
A store could have a code printed and posted at the entrance when you walk in. Take a picture and you get the specials for the day, week or whatever.

RE: Bar Codes on Sites?
Those are cool. Me and a friend were trying to figure out a website to use those as a means of accessing special offers. Gear them towards the mobile market. Program the image to take you to a specific web page that is only accessible by taking a picture of the code. And ya, great for collecting e-business cards. Hopefully they will get more popular.

Jeff
