Hi Thomas,
I did it with the UV Copy & Paste tools.
Hi TIG,
thanks for the tip.

Bear it in mind for next time...
That's the big problem! Often you can't remember on the name of the corresponding plugin. I think many of us will have the same problem. I have to create a list with small notes for the plugins that are used less frequently.

Hi,
I made another attempt with my Viking ship hull. This tool is really amazing. A small error I could not resolve.
Hi,
thank you all for the help. The process took me busy for longer than expected.

Hi to All,
When I designed this hull I gave it a thickness. Now I just need only the outer surface (for the quad face tool). Is there an easy way to select all the inner edges and surfaces or do I have to delete them all manually. Any help would be appreciated.
Charly
Thanks Gaieus,
this plugin I had completely forgotten.
Hi to All,
I know that this problem was discussed some time ago in a topic but I can not find it anymore. As far as I can remember, the strips were produced by Twilight Render. How do I get these strips away again? I thank you in advance for any help.

Thomas,
thanks for your advice. The texture was not seamless. Now, the planking is almost perfect.

Thank You Thomas,
In any case, this is a fantastic tool I've ever wanted for a long time, especially for the planking of ship hulls. But I have a small problem which I have not yet overcome.

Hi Fredo,
I think you need before placing the texture on the face. Then you can scale the texture. Whether it is possible to be centered I do not know.
The second example I have made with "UV Unwraps, copy and past UV"
Thanks for the tip. Your plugin has a great potential as always.
Hi TIG,
I've tried it with no success. I do not know if that's my fault. See Picture below.

Gaieus and dereeei,
thanks again for your efforts. I'm always delighted by the friendly help in the forum. I'll check it yet again in peace.

Hi Gaieus,
thanks for the information. That with the alpha mask, I have also not yet understood properly. The technique with the alpha mask, I have to study in detail.

Hi,
In relation to photo match, I also consider myself a beginner. I've tried to export the model, with the matched photo from David, to Kerkythea. But in Kerkythea only the model is shown without the matched photo. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Thomas,
Best wishes for your birthday. Stay on as creative as ever and may all your wishes come true.

Hi Rich,
For trees, it basically works just like it "TIG" has described above. Unfortunately, within the image transparent areas may not be present as I noted in a experiment. The edges must first be processed cleanly. The picture shows a try with GIMP.
