Oh yes one more thing. Would be great if you can add a CTLR modifier to make the new mesh smooth. Oh I am just been greedy now. Great job !

RE: [Plugin] Point Merger tools v1.2 UPDATED@ 23/06/09
Great script!
I just tested it and 2 things came up.
- I noticed that when I press undo after a point Merge operation it does not undo the entire procedure, rather breaks it down to individual line moves.
- I cannot get it to work if the geometry is in side a group.
If those 2 issue can be addressed this would one of the most useful scripts out there! Well deserve a custom button I think, hint hint CADFather

I've recently had some issues with purge all and VRay 1.05. Basically the purge all removes some relinked Jpeg texture overides (they remain in the Sketchup Model but just doesn't render). Can be fixed easily be relinking the image. Is there a way around this? Or should I create SKMs manually for all the new textures I use?
I don't understand.
Texture overrides?
Create SKMs manually? What I mean is. When you are unsatisfied with a defaul sketchup texture (.skm) what we do is relink it to a new texture.
If you rename the relinked file and right click on it and do a save-as, you can save it as a .skm file in your default sketchup material library. -

[HELP] RE: Can't find good gabions
Does anyone know where to find or care to share a decent gabion model? I had a quick look on 3DWH and they where pretty bad.

RE: Some Components missing from Vray Render image

What version of VfSU do you use?
If you're using the original then you need to explode and regroup. Or convert the Groups to Components.
If you're using the SR1.x versions then it should be enough to reopen the file.
I often get this when I applied a new V ray material. Usually if I preview the material it is enough to get it to render.

RE: Laptop comparison - which one?
Without a doubt for Sketchup the one with 9600M GT is the best.

I have a 22 year old forest cat. She talks. She has about a 20 sound vocab that serves her well. She has emotions/feelings like everyone else.
You know there are some countries that outlaw the dismemberment of plants, trees because they respect their right to live.
Interesting how some have evolved and others have not.If you ever thought you would like to eat a cat, google "cat conversation" watch the video. It should change your mind.
here---->> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3U0udLH974Hmmm now I just want to eat THAT cat . And which country out laws dismemberment of plants? How does making a forest cat mime sounds humans produce make it more evolved? Surely it should be measured by its adeptness at survival in its own habitat?
I don't think cat meat taste good at all. Where I am from in China, Beijing actually. You won't find cat on the menu. In Canton region of China however everything is fair game. In Beijing you do get Dog meat (mainly Korean resturants) and Donkey meat (Shandong delicacy apparently). I've tried both (accidentally with dog meat) and have to say donkey meat is delicious.
Animals that are accepted as food don't really fall into our field of empathy. There are good evidence that the human race evolved our cranial capacity as a result of changing our diet to include more complex proteins i.e. meat. We've hunted the mamoth to extinction which sounds tragic but if our fore fathers didn't eat meat we won't be here to whine about how ethical it is. Now thats something to think about.
