@fredo6 They already were in the latest version (otherwise I wouldn't come here to write).
There was no "one single" bug - SU and the entire OS were almost frozen, you had to wait for a few minutes before you had any access to SU and also to the OS (W 11)... for about 1-2 minutes, and then the same cycle... (flashing and freezing... and couldn't use no other app).

Experience (a lot of it) and intuition finally drove me to LOTT - and I made no other changes in my PC other than downgrade LOTT (LibFredo seems to be fine at the second to last version) - It has been a few hours and everything is alright (I mean as much as it can it can be after W7).

This kind of problem started on many levels with SU (and its plugins) only after W7, but unfortunately, we are not in the driver's seat... and we have to move forward, everything was flawless but starting with W10... many headaches for users and developers, concerning many other software.

@FlorinAp All these incompatibility issues between SU 2022 and W10-W11 have disappeared starting with SU 2023, and maybe at some point not everything can be compatible with everything... i understand that, but it is fair that at that point every developer should mention in its release notes where the compatibility ends.

@FlorinAp Sorry, i was a bit irritated after so many wasted hours, and I missed telling you something - everything was starting as soon as I would approach my mouse to any palette, if you wouldn't touch the palette... everything was fine.

Although SU 2022 would load very late and very slowly because of the vignette, but after that you are not allowed to touch any pallette; but if I disbaled the LOTT completely, SU would also load very fine and fast.

LOTT is compatible with SU2022. It even includes menu command.

So what exactly is the problem.

Can you exit SU2022 with the Ruby console opened and relaunch SU2022. The Ruby console should open at startup and log potential errors.

@fredo6 I don't know what is the problem, but even with 2.4a SU 2022 is not usable, with 2.4a it just doesn't freeze my os anymore, but SU 2022 it is still mostly unusable, the only way to make it usable is to disable LOTT completely.

Since I wrote that everything is alright I haven't used it, I just left it there, opened in background, to understand now that I cant use it... if I don't disable LOTT.

I will try what you suggested...!

For me is not a big deal because now I use mostly SU 23 and 24 - it's just a sick incurable stubbornness to understand and fix everything I touch, so if it makes sense to you maybe you will be willing to share; I don't see nothing "Fredo" related, but it seems to be a conflict created by some Curic extensions....

I exeprience the same problem in SU24 last updat.
Is there any way that the Menu search dialogue can be unblocked ? I would realy appreciate it to be available again on SU24.

I have a problem with the MINDSIGHT STUDIOS plugins suddenly not appearing in my toolbars. I realized they also disappear from the Master Toolbar Manager.

Hello @fredo6 I have a problem that I can't solve. Could you help me? LordOfTheToolbars v2.9a It worked fine during the first run and I can add tools icon.
However, I couldn't use the Master Toolbar Manager after restarting SketchUp.I can't drag the icon. It doesn't work.
The problem remained the same even after reinstalling it.

SU Version: 2024.0.594-64bit

@fredo6 I switched back to SketchUp 2023, and everything works fine. Thank you for your work.
The issue occurs in SU2024.0.594, which may be a compatibility problem. The Master Toolbar Manager window does not respond to operations.

With the latest version of Lord of thr Toolbar the compatibility problem with vay 7 has been solved but now I find another problem, often when I open sketchup, it crashes, The crash happens just when it goes to open the menu bars created with Lord of the toolbar. I found that by disabling Lord of the Toolbar, Sketchup opens perfectly. I don't understand which one is due to incompatibility with other plugins or from something else. To open sketchup I have to disable Lord of the toolbar AND re-enable it when it is open, through the Sketchauction plugin manager.

Hello Fredo. Do you think it will be possible to return the "Menu" tool in the new SU 2025?

I can no longer create new buttons with Lord of the Toolbar or even edit buttons already created. You can see from the video that it does not save changes made to any button. What can I do I have installed the latest versions anyway.

I just upgraded to SU2024
My personal icons I made in 2022 are greyed out. when i try to make a new one there is no list available in the command menu, same as larent002.
Is this going to be fixed?
Do you have a work around?
I am missing 6 buttons that I need all the time.
