but, where can I get "lib traductor.rb", there's no in lib fredo zip and curviloft zipped file installer right?
Actually you do not need LibTraductor.rb for Curviloft (it's only for backward compatibility that it is checked).

really??
lol..i'm sorry, but thanks my SU8 now loading without any error notification.. -

and here is I copy paste after I enter it on ruby console:
"Sketchup.find_support_file('LibTraductor.rb', "Plugins")
C:/Program Files/Google/Plugins/LibTraductor.rb"By the way, you seem to have a non-standard installation of SU8.
Normally, Sketchup folders are located in
C:/Program Files/Google/**Google SketchUp 8**

Wow, Thank you very much. All of these plugins are truly a life saver. They bring Sketchup to a completely different level. I love them. And the more I use them the more I appreciate what they do. This had made Sketchup more than just a modeling toy to play with, these plugins (and others listed on the forum) allow the software to truly and indisputably become more of a productive too hands down! Thank you (and all of the other people who write rubies for this Software) again! WE should NEVER take ANY plugin listed here for granted!

Pardon my ignorance, but where can I find the latest LibFredo version file to download? I have an old version and recall finding it buried in a forum discussion but no such luck this time.
THanks! -

NEW RELEASE: LibFredo6 v4.4j - 11 Apr 12
LibFredo6 4.4 is a new release which essentially support the publishing of ThruPaint and ReverseOrientFaces as part of FredoTools
I also updated the strategy for online documentation. All PDF will now be grouped in a single sub-directory DOCUMENTATION_Dir. The move of file is done automatically for existing plugins. This will allow to keep the documentation regardless of the version of plugins (as I do not update the doc for every release). Also, The Plugin zip files won't include these PDF files any longer (this will make them lighter). Users will have to download the doc from the forum and put it in DOCUMENTATION_Dir folder if they wish.
See main post of this thread for Download.

Hi Fredo,
Thanks for all your huge work and for sharing it with the community.
I'll just warn users of this library NOT to install it with a Ctrl-A and then drag-drop the files in their Plugins folder. Doing the extraction this way DOESN't create any folder structure and obiously generates errors when loading the library and plugin.
The safer (and only) way is to select "Extract" in Winzip, point to the correct folder and tick "use folder structure" checkbox.
Now back to removing my 148 wrongly located files -

I've always done that - using Windows' native archive feature. Never had any problems.

Normally, what I say is:
- Select all files (Ctrl A)
- Extract to the destination folder (i.e. not 'drag and drop')
- Answer Yes to overwrite files
Drag and Drop requires, as you say, to make sure Winzip option to use folder structure is On.

Hey y'all. I need some help. For whatever reason, LibFredo6 plugin is starting to crash Sketchup. (Yes I know it's this one because I systematically went through and tested sketchup with each plugin I have.)Anyone know a fix for it?
Now that I think about it, it MAY be something that it activates. All I really know is that if I delete it, Sketchup doesn't crash. But then I can't use curveloft and whatnot. ANY help is appreciated.

Hi,
the round corner tool seems like something i would use a lot. Unfortunatly i cannot get it to work properly. I have downloaded the LibFredo6 and placed it in the plugin folder (that is the .rb and the folder) and i also downloaded the round corner tool and also placed it in the plugin folder (the .rb and the folder). As i understand correctly it should then work. But nothing happens when i open SU. I'm working on a mac with SU7 pro.
Thanks

Assuming the file/folders were extracted 'intact' and then put into the correct Plugins folder [Macintosh HD/...Lib/.../plugins] and not a spurious 'User' one... then a restart of Sketchup should auto-load the tool for you.
However, like many such tools this is an Extension and so it needs a one off activation, which is done through Preferences > Extensions.
Once it is activated its menu items and toolbar becomes available to you - if it hasn't auto-activated then the toolbar can be activated from the appropriate menu item too... -

Are you sure it's installed properly - file and folder ?
Do you have the latest version ? -
