Joe Zeh's Cutlist Bridge can probably do what you want - it's purpose is to create a file for use by Cutlist Plus. It can be overkill for simpler needs because you have to enter a lot of info into the model, but I believe it handles grain orientation and materials among other things.

Your model has a lot of inside faces which gives you that nasty subdivisio. I have drawn the curves with Curvizard or Bezier curves. Then you connect them with curviloft. Also you can used Bend plugin to create that volute. TEMP C.skp Detail .skp

[image: zqrs_IMAG1164.jpg]Thank you Davidheim1. I will look at those extensions. already doing items on CNC router and exporting them as solids. I am using the the skp-to-dxf plugin by N. Bromham http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/rld/plugin_details.php?id=774 and the CamBam Export plugin from cerebral meltdown http://www.cerebralmeltdown.com/cncstuff/page2/cambam_export/default.htm. I am having a problem naming the components in these parts to even begin where to look or how. Will look at those plugins. Any other idead or help would be appreciated. Here is one item that I have already done sketchup file of drawing

As I said, there's no need for a plugin for this. Don't make it so complex.

They also have competitions for the thinnest complete shaving. Some of the shavings seem to be a translucent and unimaginably thin, yet are a complete shaving. If you want to try, softwoods are easier than hardwoods. http://kottke.org/13/02/competitive-wood-planing

Thoughts? Have a beer. I honestly don't know but I would try to contact the CutList Plus author. I did a little searching and didn't find much useful info about CutList Plus Express. Is it really releated to CutList Plus? I expect if you were able to get in touch with someone from CutList Plus (Bridgewood Design?) they might be able to take a look at the file exported from the plugin and see what is missing or what needs to be changed. If it's a change required to the plugin to make the export file usable, we'll have to find someone who can edit the file. Out of curiosity, will CutList Plus Express accept a CSV file? If so, what happens when you import a CSV file from the plugin?

Stacked or unstacked, this chair doesn't seem very stable or comfortable. It reminds me of the three-legged chairs that Frank Lloyd Wright designed for the Johnson Wax headquarters; if a secretary didn't keep both feet on the floor, the chair would tip over. Or so the story goes. Best, dh
