The 1stdibs.com web site recently featured this chair by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen. It's stackable, as you can see. This pair has designed numerous other chairs and tables, all using what's described as a patented joint that eliminates tenons, dowels, and screws. Can't find any images of this joint; I have a hunch it's a Domino-style loose tenon. I'd love to hear from anyone who may know more about the joint.

The perfect chair to solve that age old conundrum, 'how do we get the whole team seated for the press conference?'.

Stacked or unstacked, this chair doesn't seem very stable or comfortable. It reminds me of the three-legged chairs that Frank Lloyd Wright designed for the Johnson Wax headquarters; if a secretary didn't keep both feet on the floor, the chair would tip over. Or so the story goes.
