Hi Kenny, Sorry for not responding on the Indigo forums. A couple things that could be causing you problems with respect to using Indigo You cannot have duplicate material names in your SketchUp scene. The scene that you posted has 'Color_000' twice Are you using instancing? If so, make sure you do not have light emitting materials or exit portal materials inside instances. If you are still having trouble with certain scenes, please post them here or on the Indigo forums. That is the easiest way for me to figure out the problem.

@remus said: @unknownuser said: The NHS is widely opposed to natural medicines that just don't work. Indeed they dont work in a traditional way, but in a lot of cases, just taking something (whatever it might be) can help a lot of people. Its pretty cheap as well. having said that, i still love the NHS. Free healthcare for everyone is a brilliant idea, even if it does have its downsides. I think a problem with the NHS is that the normal aproach to any health problem is to throw tablets at it (which all have side effects) I think that spending more time talking to patients and thinking outside the box a little would improve treatment. Also, the NHS seems to be pretty poor at dealing with mental health problems. I'd much prefer the NHS to private health care though - I'd probably be dead or hugely in debt without it!

Perosnally i dont think there is any such barrage. I count 5 such threads on the first page of the corner bar out of a total 25 threads. The numbers decline sharply after that, with only 2 more such threads in the next 4 pages. Id interesting threads outnumber the 'whats...' thread by a lot, although obviously this is very subjective.

The original two year old clip was much better to my taste...before he got funds to remake the thing. It was a bit more spontaneous and the music track was great. That clip got over 9 million viewers: [flash=425,344:11ep4zyr]http://www.youtube.com/v/bNF_P281Uu4&hl=en[/flash:11ep4zyr] disclaimer: This message has not officially been approved by Stu *

I'm usually making quick glances throughout the day while at work. I will scan the latest submissions in the Gallery, and then the corner bar. Sometimes I will look in the SU discussion forum, or the components.

Tom, There is a phenomenon in northern Australia where rubber thongs [or as they are somtimes know,'flip-flops'] get washed up on the beaches. They are nearly always the same foot [cant remember which one]. The theory is, that because each [left and right] thong has a unique and different aerodynamic and aquadynamic shape it travels in a certain direction driven by the wind and currents. So the left foot thongs end up in Darwin..and the right foot thongs sail on to Fiji or somewhere else. So possibly all the left feet, in this instance, have landed on some deserted beach in Greenland....or are still bobbing along on the high seas.

Tenkte jeg kunne poste ting derfra her etterhvert. IFC-IFD-BIM-KML-SKP-HTML-KMZ

apparently there were "meeting" bicycles with five seats so that you could conduct a meeting while on the bicycle. I did not see them but I think Ross did?

After messing around with Maxwell for a couple of months and then discovering VRay I've never looked back. Sure it's still a bit buggy (which software isn't these days? ) and the numerical inputs of the VRay UI are very dry and confusing at first, but the manual explains most of them them pretty clearly and the way the whole plugin is integrated with SU is streets ahead of Maxwell IMO. The results are as good as almost any renderer out there and in a fraction of the time (we're talking 1/100th of Maxwell), and it's possible to render out your SU Scene animations or batch render all your SU scenes overnight- this has saved me sooooo much time when I needed multiple views of a model asap. Yep, I'm a VRay fanboy!

My guess is thta it wont work, as i imagine the drivers alter other bits of the computer that are harder to copy across, for example theres a good chance that some registry values are modified upon installation of the drivers.

Thanks for the reply Ross. The positive intentions sound good, we'll just have to be patient as ever. They usually surprise us with a few great features when new versions do come out. I really hope as many people do, that handling of large models is addressed. Kenny

pshh! ive already seen it! this is kind of redundant, because all the car people would have already heard of it! there are entire magazines all full of car stuff. (i get three per month, im pretty informed) still, i like it. mr bangle's "flame surfacing" desing method has alwas been a love-hate kind of thing, but i always thought it looked cool.

Had a better look at this software and I believe it would be very easy to bundle a library of shapes that one can modify with SU and create ones own creatures in SU. With all our new tools we can even map the UV's perfectly giving more texture options. ...hmmm... would there be a market for such a thing?

Thanks, Mike. I have been having fun exploring this site. May even start a "thread" (if that's the right term). You will remember our conversation regarding the topic. Hope you have a good flight and enjoy touring New York. Steve
