After reading all of the comments in this thread, I downloaded the trial version because it looked like a pretty good piece of software and others on this forum have posted some good looking renders. I tried to render an animation created with Fredo's Animator plugin (beta). I have done this with other software but the Thea experience was not positive. At this point I am assuming that I did something wrong since this was my first attempt. If you are a member of the Animator beta testing team, you can check out my post here to see my results and what happened. I welcome any feedback/comments anyone my have and hope that the problem is totally my fault.

yeah, sorry if my response seemed upset, I didnt mean to be disrespectful nor am I upset I was just being playful and engaging in the sarcasm of the whole "google it" thing and throwing the sarcasm back at you. I know sometimes people get misunderstood on the web, cause it's all just written and open to misinterpretation. Thanks for the responses

@pixero said: It's fascinating, but at the same time I feel it's kind of sad limiting such a great artist down to code. In a way the program's just mimicking what it's been taught. A human can invent things and try different solutions to better captures his/her idea. Still, even the old masters themselves used the latest technique available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDIiVkoTik8 Yeah, well maybe. We don't know. But we do know the lengths artists went to in order to create perspective etc. once the concepts became clear. When you look at what Caravaggio ACTUALLY DID with either technology or shear force of talent, it doesn't matter. I think the breaking-down of Rembrandt's works to code or algorithms is fascinating. It's just more of man looking inward and taking it apart to see what works and how it's connected to nature. As screwed-up a species as we are, amazing what lies within.

"Our constitution does not copy the laws of neighbouring states; we are rather a pattern to others than imitators ourselves. Its administration favours the many instead of the few; this is why it is called a democracy. If we look to the laws, they afford equal justice to all in their private differences; if no social standing, advancement in public life falls to reputation for capacity, class considerations not being allowed to interfere with merit; nor again does poverty bar the way, if a man is able to serve the state, he is not hindered by the obscurity of his condition. The freedom which we enjoy in our government extends also to our ordinary life. There, far from exercising a jealous surveillance over each other, we do not feel called upon to be angry with our neighbour for doing what he likes, or even to indulge in those injurious looks which cannot fail to be offensive, although they inflict no positive penalty. But all this ease in our private relations does not make us lawless as citizens. Against this fear is our chief safeguard, teaching us to obey the magistrates and the laws, particularly such as regard the protection of the injured, whether they are actually on the statute book, or belong to that code which, although unwritten, yet cannot be broken without acknowledged disgrace. +1 @Rich Audacity is a fine cross platform application. For OSX users, XLD is a fine free app. (supporting DSD to PCM conversion, flac, apple lossless, wav, aiff, mp3 etc etc) https://sourceforge.net/projects/xld/

@pbacot said: While the second seems to be of a mold that is almost passe already--it may work, as you say on the business cards. The first to me is a little too cute "HI!...(TechHomes)" Now if you were in Hawaii (HI) it might make sense. The house symbol is so used but very effective and nicely done here. I still read Hi TechHomes: The box around the Hi separates it from the other two; The spacing between Hi and Tech is much greater than between Tech and Homes. So now it looks Hi TechHomes but not as organized as before. I think you're sacrificing the logo look and legibility for the nice idea of mixed meanings for Hi. However, even if the idea is nice, it works only once, while the logo will be everywhere. Have you thought of getting rid of the box, and create an animated word where Hi stands there for a while but after shifting to the left the remaining of Hitech letters start being typed on screen?
