Not photography but related to the idea of gathering a 3d point cloud. http://www.faro.com/content.aspx?ct=kr&content=news&item=229&tab=3 I saw a competing product on a recent episode of This Old House and it looked to me like it will be a tool for most kitchen cabinet designers/installers within a few years. I can't stand being in my kitchen when someone else comes in even my wife...I would suffocate to death in a place like that...man I need a breath of fresh air just watching it.

Or better yet, skip the bulky portable device and use this BMW (Bowel Movement Wagon) [image: J5kD_BMW.jpg] Just make sure to lift the lid before you depart.

@tinanne said: Here's another idea... I would love to get a "Queen for a day" spa package.... massage, hair, nails, lunch, facial, pedicure..... now that sounds like heaven. Tianne, I did just that, almost. I gave my wife a deluxe facial at her favorite beauty spot and she was plesantly suprised.... needless to say she doesn't need it, she's adorable!!!

I see the image and not sure if i should feel sad for the poor animal or happy that we live in a time that wheelchairs for dogs are available. I suppose happiness should be the emotion as the dog now has a life of mobility, and he can challenge those damned totalitarian pigs on the farm with his own rhetoric "Four legs bad, two legs and two wheels better".

I don't know about the U.S., but you'd be lucky to get paid by a brand for doing this in the UK. Also, you should get the brands permission before duplicating their logo

Very Good! I must tell you that the PC term for "Redneck" is "Appalachian American".

Fred, what about the foam used to seal waterfalls and fountains? I know it doesn't have a ton of give, since it has to resist settling boulders.

Latest developments... I injected the foam yesterday evening and the results are good but not great. The essential problem is that the cured foam is not dense enough and compresses under pressure, which in turn allows the whole structure to deflect heavily. The good news is that the honeycomb structure is quite strong even given this. I layed a 1/16" plastic sheet on top of the honeycomb and inched my (210 lbs) way out to the center of the triangle (see image below) and although the surface deflected it held up and recovered nicely after I stepped off. The foam, in addition to being structurally inadequate, is very hard to control. I'm looking for alternative materials to use in the interstices between the PVC sections. I'm leaning towards trying epoxy next but am open to other suggestions. An ideal material would be inexpensive, easy to apply, and cure really hard. BTW, I also learned not to over tighten the wire ties before injecting the foam as it makes it very hard to form the honeycomb into curves. In dubya's own words "fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice..." he loses the plot thereabout. So yeah, consider it forgiven.

I actually sent out a board email (and by accident, three times) but there was this issue with email notifications in general so it may have got(ten) stuck somewhere in the air. As for the non yet registered members; there are about six time more here than at the new board. This means of course a lot of newly registered ones and the number of those having posted a considerable amount but not registered yet is not too high. So maybe we can "collect" them. Shaun Tennant for instance.
