I just noticed there a list button with more movies at the bottom of the media player. The footage with the whales is quite amazing. Surely this technology is the way forward? It's like standing within the movie.

I shouldn't be generalizing. The idea of 'reaching the sublime' was explained to me by my brother in law who teaches esthetics on a US university. We had long discussions on how to 'rate' art and which parameters to use when classifying a work as a piece of art .. He explained me the meaning of the word 'sublime' and how it related to US culture. But I guess the States is a big place with lots of other view points and approaches on this.

I can vouch for Filezilla. I use the client all the time and it is a great ftp software.

Id like to have it all within SU as well, although id also want to avoid any UI clutter. id prefer an external app over a cluttered UI though, theres very little i find more annoying than a cluttered UI.

I wouldnt name that stupidity....i would name it INDIFFERENCE...Why? Maybe i'm not right but,for lot of time and still ,they think like this: If we are on a floating boat, everything is cool(so we dont care that Europe is a continent and France is in Europe not in Australia).

I won't be using it myself...at least not until they have completely cleared up the privacy issues (which they now seem to have made a start on) and added certain basics like a Bookmarks manager and RSS feed capability. I'm sure these will come; this is just an early Beta. I'm still a little concerned about Google's attitude to private data. For instance, caching your entire browsing history going back years. I'm not talking about the Windows cache, or the Firefox/IE cache wich can easily be wiped; I'm talking about this....every search you've ever made; every page you've ever visited. I think Chrome is more than just another browser. This is Google's first stab at an online OS. I'm sure over the next few years we are going to see all manner of applications, from an online Office suite (Google Docs) to maybe even SU itself running in Chrome. This is aimed right between Microsoft's eyes.

I'm, sure there are those in Kansas - and other states - who wish they could pass such a law, no joking. I believe Kansas is one of the states that has tried to mandate teaching creationism.

Fully interactive geometry, awesome fluid dinamics, rendered with a built-in feature called REALitY. You should try it some time, you'll love it! I'm glad that isn't my house getting battered and all foamed up!
