@gaieus said: Well, in my test history tracking was NOT checked. That's why I thought you could get it back somehow. Maybe if earlier... Who knows? Anyway, you re-made the model now... Yeah, its just got some flaws. I can fix it though. Thanks a ton for the help, it was really nice to get some. Well, since the model is remade, i think this thread is officially dead. Thanks!

I know two guys in this industry who look like that but their offices don't look the way you described lol. It's not likely you know the guy, as I live in Belgium, not the Netherlands. Oh well, water under the bridge. Shame about that job, though! Modeling, rendering, and it was only 15 minutes by bike! I'll probably have to pick up my old profession again (copywriting and editing, that is). If I can get me a nice part-time gig, I'd be okay with that.

Relax,... I used a smiley at the end of the sentence, which automatically makes it okay for me to say On a more serious note. I understand my comment could be read in several ways. 'They' refers to Google, not to the people actively working on fine tuning Sketchup. The comment on itself only states the fact that Sketchup today is simply not what it could have been. Hope I didn't step on too many toes...

People here would surely appreciate the latter! Indeed, my sentiments exactly. I recently had a tour around Fountains Abbey http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountains_Abbey near to my home. It was incredible the amount of stuff regarding monastic architecture and the monastic way of life that i "knew" as the tour guide was telling us, all of it from POTE and a bit of light reading around the subject after reading Follet. Brilliant stuff!

I keep having to close all my curtains! the reflections are soooooooooooo annoying on my 24" imac! when I bought my macbook pro I made sure it had a matte finish screen as I just couldn't imagine using a glossy one outdoors. funny seeing android on iphone.....its even funnier when you get blue screen on your mac! or you have to press ctrl+alt+delete

I think couple of years ago I even did read about some trademark suit where judge did order the defendant to change its store layout and marketing... But back to the apple store... for me it really does not look unique. I have visited some cloth shops that have fairly similar atmosphere and layout.

The very reason we have two words - 'opinion' and 'belief' is that they do mean subtly different things - although there usage does overlap in daily speech... An 'opinion' is a subjective statement about an issue, that is either an emotional response or a personal interpretation of some information. An opinion may be supported by arguments or facts, although people might draw opposing opinions from the same facts. Opinions can change when new arguments are presented. It can be argued that one opinion is better supported by the facts than another, by analyzing the supporting facts. A 'belief', on the other hand, is a mental acceptance of a claim to truth regardless of the lack of supporting empirical evidence or facts. A belief will normally be kept despite facts being offered that counter it robustly. Either way, you do not need 'qualifications' to hold opinions or to have beliefs. You can shape people's opinions by rational argument [e.g. 'Synthetic life is good because...'], but you cannot readily change their beliefs [e.g. 'There is no God because...']. Ironically, 'to be opinionated' has negative connotations, but 'to believe' in something is often seen as positive [unless in 'blindly believe...']... Any opinion is an opinion, in my opinion.
