I have been playing with this since beta and it is to say the least impressive.

Love the fact that some HATE my avatar.....

I presume you have some type of pen tablet in your arsenal.
I have a tabletpc that came loaded with Alias Sketchbook Pro, before Autodesk purchased the company and its program. Autodesk has expanded the program's capabilities as you can see, with the Bezier? controls, and buffed up the layer and color controls. I salute them for that, rather than shelving it.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

Perhaps you've also seen "I Love Sketch"? There is a video demo on a .edu toronto website. Google it.

It will put "I love sketch" to shame quite honestly.

Mmmmm, I am in two minds about the app. Would it not make more sense to make a model in SketchUp then produce whatever type of render you want?

Designing with Alias Sketch and going on to a finished presentation drawing(s) is a step backward in my view, reminiscent of the old pre 3D modeling days. I think it would fall down when it comes to making changes to the design, much easier in SU. I will admit its very impressive to watch in action though.

I could also see it being useful for 2D plan creation 👍
