FYI --- photofly is now on version 2.0 and the "free" trial has been extended to 12-31-2012. Never tried it last fall when it showed up on the forum, but I think I will give it a try and see how well it plays with sketchup. I plan to model my old house as a test and will post the results.

Apparently they are more effective than sniffer dogs!

It would even be better if the train went through slower so the passengers could shop while they ride. A "drive by" market if you will.

@srx said: This FORUM is an example of true democracy. In effect if this forum would be a country then it would be a benevolent oligarchy. There are only 3 people who have absolute control over it(admins) and a bunch of others who carry out the policy of the 3(moderators). This forum or any forum is never a true democracy. And about the talk of the European revolution and Zeitgeist movement, colour me a skeptic on both. Some of the European Revolution's demands sound a bit too socialist and utopian for my liberal tastes, but I do want change and also welcome the debate and discussions happening because of these movements.

Glad that sorted it out for you. I would suggest you change your default style and make the back face color something more noticeable so you can catch reversed faces and correct them right away. I use a green that I wouldn't normally use in my models. You can easily see in this example there's a missing face that needs attention. [image: 5352085248_001cb0a8aa_m.jpg]

I guess it can not be done due to security reasons. It's not a big deal since I can open the bookmark as a Sidebar in FF, I just thought I could simulate the Sidebar across different browsers.

I didn't mean to sound like I was dissing your suggestion. Even though I act the class clown on this forum I am so appreciative of all the great suggestions and advice on my behalf. No worries. I know they aren't cheap. Still it is a cool thing @bob james said: Not counting the Cintiq 21UX, does a pen/tablet provide any advantages in general SU work? Bob, as well as the Cintiq, I also have an Intuous4 tablet. Although you can work SU with it, I found I didn't like it as well as the mouse. Perhaps some of that comes from use. I'm a lefty with a pen although I use the mouse right handed. I found it awkward to draw in SketchUp with the pen/tablet. It is much easier for me on the Cintiq because I'm able to look at where I'm pointing but I still don't find it comfortable. There are some folks who do use a tablet with SketchUp and like it. You might, too.

Must be utterly awesome to see the galaxy edge-on like that. The Milky Way that we see in the Northern hemisphere just isn't in the same league.

(And what were they thinking?!) If people cannot work these sort of incidents out amongst themselves, something's wrong.
