@pixero said: @jarynzlesa said: i am missing more shadows, the book on the coffee table has great reflection (this is what I like the most at this render), sunshine light is too yellow, the flowers looks odd, nice coffee table. "The scandinavian light" late afternoon in autumn looks like this. Agree. Looks familiar to me. Quite different than central European light.

Great model! (and I know the second picture you linked, too) (And there's indeed something funky going on with the Greek text - listen to Michalis; this is his native...)

Well Lloyd, I have been a little lax with the fine design thread lately as I am in the middle of building our new house, but I am absolutely fascinated by design in all aspects. That's why I was curious about your card stock. Would love to see some of your other work. Cheers

I was looking at the pdf export on my Mac to recall what it does after these posts. If I export the pdf, I get a vector file. If I "print" a pdf it is raster (at least I couldn't get anything out of it by my methods). Printing the pdf is just like other graphic output but exporting you only get geometry with colors (no textures, no background or shadows). For example I exported an elevation.Only the up-front surfaces came through. There was no extra junk from behind the front wall. There were some excess polygons and the stacking needs sorting somewhat (rectangles of the wall color might be covering a window for instance). I found out some other tricks if anyone is trying to use this in a similar program (I used PowerCADD). Set your edge color in SU to something other than black so you can separate them.

Something is bothering me about the size of the toilets compared to the washbasin. They seem too small...is everything to scale in this model?

Thanks Allanx My pc is not a super pc truth, so that the model does not weigh so much in separate scenes, for example, each interior is a different model. Using an Intel Q 8400, 4 gigs of ram, video card and a gforce 9800 gt to get good textures, at least for me there is one, it is cgtextures.com clear that here in the forum there is also a section where users share different textures, models and other resources

Thanks everyone. Dale your jobs safe! Maybe the husband returned early after walking the dog!! [image: y0r4_005.jpg] "whats the story of the bloke" Every time I render an image I have to put a frog in it for the grandaughter (thus the avatar), the wife says I'm daft. So I put the streaker in for her (the fatter half/better half), she doubted I would post it. John

Hi, allanx: Is this a chair of your own design, or is it an example of one that is manufactured? My concern is that while the arm shape is pleasing from a geometric standpoint, I wonder how the user would react. Or, is it the intention in this design not to let the user get too comfortable. I suspect some furniture mfr's do this, say, for bars and restaurants, that thrive on high rate of turnover in clientele.

Thank You! I need four months for finishing that project and I enjoy in every step of work! Four months of cutting, glueing, working with sandpaper, painting, laser cutting and finishing.
