Hi numbthumb,
The reason for that is that it is always difficult to find a stone texture close to the model.
I draw every blocks when it's necessary and also joints which allows to give them a different color or material
in the render app(Artl). Ok , it's a bit more time spent in SUP but I just find it's fun too, so

That's the very house! That's the front/side - the rear with terracing is much more attractive...

I wouldn't have uploaded the house if I didn't want people to remodel, improve, or add to the model . In reteurn I get to learn quite a lot from the different approaches people take to rendering the house.
thanks sir .. really appreciate it ^_^

Yes C.F.A. Voysey. I happen to be studying a Phaidon book about him and felt a connection with your style, seeing his renderings and buildings. I gather his work is peppered about the UK, if you are interested. Probably a lot of it is on private estates. I haven't looked for links.

David, I think the shadow does help. That image is so realistic.
I do have Thea as well, but have barely touched it. Also, Maxwell 1.?, Twilight, Podium, Vue.... think that is it. Thea is probably the best option, I guess.
Hello Daniel, you're correct about the roof line! I suppose it's not bad 1 fault picked up for the size of the model, I can see a few shhhh.
The arches where made using Thomtom's great UV Toolkit.... http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=18992#p15575, also Gaieus has a tutorial on the same page. It's not exactly how I use it but you'll get the jist.

i'd say the composition is excellent. the last image in the first post is my favorite, with the motion. it looks like it can be used in a marketing brochure or advertisement. good work!
Well I never intended to market these and I agree if they were made from plastic they would not last long at all. That is why these will be made of titanium and the shelves from Kevlar.
