Hi, Zootsuit: Your question about which image: yes the first image was where I saw what looked like spurious reflection. After clicking on the image and the enlarge function, I applied Control+Scroll to zoom in tighter. Obviously, the general observer would not necessarily look this close. I was just commenting in case it would concern you about that feature. EDIT: Perhaps print out the image for proofing?

Hmmm.... Englishness in his work is for discussion. Although Arts and Crafts was meant to be localised the style is quite international ... Somilar style was evident in Germany as well.

Yes...it was beautiful. It is interesting how in less than 50 miles distance local architectural language changes completely. For instance in Ambleside you have slate walls and almost alpine look and in Kendal you have lime stone and shallower roof pitch like I am in Buckinghamshire. Anyway Voyesy did number of houses in brick as well.

Hello everyone. This is my first post here on the forum. I saw this challenge and decided to give it a shot. I think it's a really good challenge that seems simple but in reality can be a bit difficult to accomplish. I think I came up with a really good way to do it that is simple and quick. Hope you all like it. After a few attempts, I realized that the curve around the ball has a certain symmetry to it and can be divided into 8 equal parts. My process is based on that idea. Here we go! First I made a sphere, and erased all but 1/8 of it. I made that section into a component. I then copied and flipped that component to reassemble the sphere. Next, I rotated 1/2 of the sphere 90 degrees. [image: 9yzR_TennisBallBuild1.jpg] I then opened one of the components and drew the curved line freehand on the surface. I began at the point marked with the red dot. This point is the center point of this arc. [image: HdW9_TennisBallBuild2.jpg] After tweaking the line by eye to make sure it flowed smoothly around the ball, I offset the line twice on each side. I attempted to use the "offset on surface" plugin, but it produced unfavorable results, so again I did this freehand. Well done indeed. I play around with a similar process so everything sounds familiar. Do you do an x-ray view overlay for one of your images? It seems there is an interesting transparency showing through. Also, how do you handle your selections in photoshop for things like the floor showing through the furniture and such. That is on heck of a selection! Best wishes and keep it up!
