@marked001 said: You've got the right project, Richard. They didn't mind paying for the fish tank, but unfortunately, no one could come up with a convenient way to access it and clean it since it couldn't be reached from above and then they lost interest. A few things were bounced around, even some kind of hologram?? but ultimately, this is what was decided on. I just got a bunch of pics of this job and its getting very close and its pretty damn spot on to the design (for once). I'll share them when its more complete. I rather like the decision made there, very effective! Look forward to seeing some shots of the finished space!

@pbacot said: "Because the animation is a GIF I need the first frame to e the same as the last frame so I cant move things too much, it gets tricky!" Oh. But can you make it jump back for the last frame? Its proving quite difficult, the animation is set on an infinite loop so it keeps on going, in order for it to be fluid you cant just jump back to frame 1. I am working on cutting the cloud layer in half and then inverting it so that the start is also the end and it just keeps on going seamlessly (in principal, harder in practice )

very cool.. glad you finally got around to posting some work. I'm going to check out your gallery now. I bounce between the same two industries as well (tv more than film), although at a much lower level..haha..

Thanks Bryan ! & Thanks Richard for your comment here I use RI to get interiors - fast and without great effort. In addition, this tool presents materials and colors very exact - of course not in a depth like Maxwell or Thea for example, but for "every day projects" perfect - press render and done... You speak to the point, which for me was also pretty fiddly here: to get a suitable light fixture wan´t that easy in this case. I was very happy with the render result, although I do not like the bright spots on the ceiling as well For one light fixture, I decided to use 3 point lights here with different luminosity and shadow causation, which was not the best solution for sure but my appointments did not allow other testsings Could you please give me a little sketch of your light fixture proposal which I would like to try, if it is translatable with my tools... Well I must like torturing myself. Had another go at this thing. Tweaked some of the materials. Redrew the flash lens. The way it was drawn I wasn't getting such a good result. Redrew lens so it was a solid piece and plugged some gaps on each side of the flash body. Still not sure of the best material set up for flash reflector. Might play with it some more. It's a frustrating model to work with. Froze up or crashed SU a good number of times. Was crashing TwilightV2 at every turn. I suspect it's the number of materials and how deep stuff is grouped. Wanted to create a bump map for the texture on the camera bodies but couldn't get SU to export the material. Got an error message every time. All in all not a bad second try. If I feel energetic might go back into the model and pare down the number of materials and see if things get a little more responsive. [image: f8RJ_JKiehlmann_Cameracopy3.jpg]
