@tuna1957 said: Sorry L I am , I hit the stupid “thumbs down” by mistake on your last post. I hate these damn touch screens . Back to the point… its a wonderful image. What I wonder about on these top of the line images is just how much post pro they put into them. Would love to see a “straight” out of the render engine and then the final image after post work. Fair point mate, I requested an SU shot and a pre post production render of the author on the facebook page but he did not seem willing to do so. No reply The workflow was quoted as "Workflow: SketchUp, Twinmotion 2022.1 (Skydome & PT on) Post-processing: Lightroom. This might be worth a watch (Lighroom for 3D renders) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdnVpuhnRWw Really good post production photoshop vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whm0kDw7lus

Bryan , loco , thanks guys… pbacot , thanks…. the furnitures not so bad if you can find some decent dimensional drawings . if your doing pieces for rendering purposes you get to skip all the joinery . I struggle a lot more with straight up architectural stuff. have forgot half of what I learned in school decades ago .

@l i am said: Hi Tuna, there is a component in a render that I am anable to define other that "airiness" and this has it in spades, nice work. If I have to put in my 2 bob's worth, where the walls meet the ceiling could use some cornicing. I think that detail would add a lot to a your fine render. It wouldn't fit the mid-century look. Millions of houses have this sort of ceiling from 50's to late 70's.

Hi pbacot. It is a real house already built only 10 months ago I have a pic of it and got hold of the floorplan and everything is correct to scale. Yes it has "borrowed" from West Australian Victorian Architecture. "I don't understand the comments on the stone pillars. Pretty easy to adjust what texture is showing, to avoid the repeat (but the components for the faces have to be unique from each other)." That is not true with twinmotion, if you move the texture they all move in unison. Unless you know a way. Only way I know is to rename them individually

@solo said: Look at the scene, decide on a season, you have spring leaves on one tree and fall leaves on the floor, Who has lights on in the daytime? Otherwise, you are definitely improving with every render. Hi Solo, thanks, I know what you mean about the leaves but I am in Western Australia. We have no native deciduous Trees at all. It is for the local market and we have trees that loose leaves all year round, especially when the weather starts getting very hot in spring and early summer in a Mediterranean climate. As far as the interior lights, I am trying to (and possibly failing) to emulate the "golden hour" that is a photo taken at dusk and slightly over exposed using both artificial and natural light together (The golden hour is a window of about 15mins actually) This is pretty much standard for my locality and the interior lights were on purpose. If you google "western Australian project home renders" you will see what I am trying to do. Not nailed it yet though.........but I eventually will
