Well I haven't really had anything major going on with SU recently, haven't really had the time tbh. Upside to this though, I've now got enough money to consider getting a new pc, so hopefully I'll be able to run SU a bit better then. Also atm I'm kinda lacking inspiration since my mind is so messed up from night shifts I can't really think straight, so any ideas for something to do would be appreciated

Well like you said yourself it's far from perfect. Think about how the real thing could work, then create the necessary components and put it all together.

Very cool, love the attention to detail. I could see some improvement in modeling techniques but if you keep doing things like this it will come over time. jsteacy

These are looking really nice - I really like the feel of the first one in particular. Don't forget, you can post your Shaderlight renders on our gallery too! http://www.shaderlight.com

I could swear I had posted the link to my Channel, lol. Oh, and by speed modelling I mean just sped-up videos. Most of those models took 2~3 hours to do, each. Anyways, it's worth to watch the videos, I guarantee ^^ http://www.youtube.com/andretbms http://www.youtube.com/andretbms

From an another forum @unknownuser said: Shaderlight for SketchUp I have seen this thread and will be upfront that I work for ArtVPS who is developing Shaderlight. I can confirm that Shaderlight will have the ability to place light sources in a model, we have 5 different light options including IES profiles, so you will be able to quickly place the light profiles to give realistic lighting information. We have also included a new Physical Sky system, which will be a much more realistic version of the SketchUp shadow system. I am going to be at Basecamp next week and will have a slot presenting Shaderlight. But if anybody is there and would like to see the near complete version of Shaderlight I would be happy to sit down and show the software and answer direct questions, I will buy the coffee. Martin
