scott...totally agree with both! buuuut, both are exactly as documented on the architect's drawing.. small gooseneck lights with very small, modern shades.. and awnings with zero detail.. maybe they'll tell me more tomorrow..

@unknownuser said: but all I meant ask for was an example of the straight SU export to accompany the sweet PR and other renders already being posted here I agree with You Tom, Sorry I must have misread that You meant posting other accomplishments in other applications and comparing them to SU`s possibilities.

James, here's the link to Mike's thread (there is a "download" tab to most of their stuff): http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=8550&p=51783&hilit=+snap+art+#p51073 The demo is a full feature 30-day (60 if you have two computers :`) though it will take me much longer than that to explore all the neat filters...but it already looks like I'll know enough to spend the $150 before then!

Thank´s to u all! rhankc - Well I have bought a book that´s called google sketchup for dummies. And then I have read a lot on the podium forum. And got some suggestion on how I can improve my modeling or renders.

John's right... although I object a bit to the "look so weird" phrase. Here is the picture used. Some Cherry blossum buds on a sunny May afternoon. Ahhh, so brief but so beautiful! [image: ji71_IMG_4657.jpg]

Stinkie, no problem. For me the new Mac Pro works like a charm under Bootcamp vista 64. (Actually I never boot Fisher Price Macos X ) I didn't have any hickups yet and Indigo runs smoothly. If you run XP64 or Vista64, Make sure to install the X64 version of Indigo. It is very stable and more speedy than the 32 bit in my opinion :better spreading of tasks over the different cores and better adressing of the RAM. (And it does a great job on Crysis as well )

That is so cool! It immediately reminded me of Silent Running with Bruce Dern 1972. Shoot, now that I think of it, you look a bit like Bruce Fred. Could there be a connection? [image: silentrunning1.jpg]
