At first glance I thought it was a hotel room. I never thought a hospital can look that good and comfortable. We just need to put a small home theater to make the place more interesting for everybody. Indiana Heart Physicians

Lets talk about construction now, because this is amazing. BTW I love the SU raw 2d exports, its more 'projective' (sorry for my english), some pp could help.

hey rambola! i personally love sculpting these little spaces, where every detail counts. i dont know how much freedom you have when designing, I recommend going wild and investigating how you can stretch those 38 square metres. here's a similar-sized flat I had to design recently, hope it helps to get those designing juices flowing!! nice. could be great if you had better wood texture (looks flat) and i think the shower floor texture needs to be toned down. and probably scaled down too, seems a little like the floor tiles are too big?

Thanks for the feedback guys - it really helps! Yes - these images are of just the poolhouse and pool/patio area that I have pulled out of the main house file so I could work on them more easily. I don't usually have things like backgrounds added while I am working on them. Dylan - plants are just edits to free things I have found on the web - most likely these were from the WH. The planter is from the mfg. Kornegy's collection on the WH. I do this as a hobby - so I don't have a lot of discretionary funds or I would buy both Solo and Tom's plants / trees. Scott - I will fix the coping on the pool, but good or bad I usually stay away from people if possible - hence the quality issue with the one @ the interior image. Just wanted a way to test the effectiveness of the striped etched glazing. I don't know if it works well enough for me - I might try something else. You are right in that the throw of the lights above the sink is too harsh. I will also be swapping them out with others, and will use ies files - they work well with Twilight Render. I can easily fix the tp lines before exported from SU. Thanks Again! Dean

@unknownuser said: Masterfull work Roberto. @unknownuser said: The images of the progress stages are very instructive. Yeah, i like to put my WIP because i can have better critiques and learn more... @unknownuser said: How did you come upon this fine building in the middle of Indiana? I tend to search on Google Images @unknownuser said: Was this a project you decided to do because you found and liked the buiilding... yes, i found the photo, I liked the building and constructed the building only on this photo (I think it is funny to imagine how is the rest part of the building ). @unknownuser said: By the way, I think it is a shame such a fine building was replaced by a parking lot, especially after being placed on the register of historic places. This sort of thing happens way too much. I agree with you, but progress is progress @unknownuser said: How did you model the human figures the eagles and other complicated decorative features? I do not model or persons or sculptures Thanks, Jim Smith!

This looks pretty impressive so far! Maybe the back faces... But I may also be too picky (I don't know if they affect SP) Yes, indeed, some more pics!

I have to agree with earthmover. The scene give me the feeling the house is empty and without life. Almost abandoned. The scene needs some more vegetation and there needs to be more around the pool. The quality of the render (lighting, AA, etc.) is nice. Scott

Ok, file size: just over 1MB (but not finished yet) the meshlab thing, don't know how it works, it cant use .skp the model info>statistics in sketchup says (show nested components: unticked) = Faces 90 (show nested components: ticked) = Faces 51646 But faces aren't polys, so oh well.
