A couple of WIP images on the Corbu Shodan Poolhouse I am working on. Twilight rendered images with SU linework overlays. 1 Exterior of the pool / hot tub / patio, and one interior @ the shower / bathroom.

Like the overlay style and I really like the first image.
I would be very happy living their!

The concrete looks good and I love the planter and plants. Are the plants from solo's pack?

If I have a criticism, there seems to be something missing at the rear of the image, either a background or something else.

I agree with Dylan that the first image looks unfinished and missing the distant details. It also needs some life. Maybe some people walking or sitting around. The coping around the pool is is trip hazard as pointed out in another pool render recently.

The interior shot need some work on the lighting. The light throw patterns are not what those downlights would throw. Try using a IES light (if your render accepts them) that is more representative to the way the light would cast. Just looks a bit odd right now. Also the toilet paper looks to have some lines that need to e softened. The figure does not look good in the shower. If you are going to render Photorealistic or semi-photoreal a better figure is needed. This figure throws the image off.

Thanks for the feedback guys - it really helps! Yes - these images are of just the poolhouse and pool/patio area that I have pulled out of the main house file so I could work on them more easily. I don't usually have things like backgrounds added while I am working on them.

Dylan - plants are just edits to free things I have found on the web - most likely these were from the WH. The planter is from the mfg. Kornegy's collection on the WH. I do this as a hobby - so I don't have a lot of discretionary funds or I would buy both Solo and Tom's plants / trees.

Scott - I will fix the coping on the pool, but good or bad I usually stay away from people if possible - hence the quality issue with the one @ the interior image. Just wanted a way to test the effectiveness of the striped etched glazing. I don't know if it works well enough for me - I might try something else. You are right in that the throw of the lights above the sink is too harsh. I will also be swapping them out with others, and will use ies files - they work well with Twilight Render. I can easily fix the tp lines before exported from SU.

            Thanks Again!
