@Mike-Amos said in Hot Rod: Are we going to see anything new from you sometime? Been thinking about posting some of the many historic one-off vehicles I have done. Did the only two remaining active sea tractors, both with very interesting histories. Here's a couple shots of the South Sands Sea Tractor [image: 1767228958262-2019-04-01_185212.png] [image: 1767229094789-2022-08-18_061411-b-recovered.png]

Your buildings seem to need some visual or physical transition from hardscape to softscape. Your edges seem they need softening to better resemble reality, unless the builders in your region cut everything with lasers.

There's a touch of "Roger Dean" going on in there right?

Hi, delineator: Your new version is nice also, with more definition of the foreground texture. However, a key element-the ring- is more subdued. This is just my opinion, but I feel the first image is more effective.

I just watched an episode - it didn't really live up to my memories of the show.

Isn't that Appleby in Cumbria - well over the Yorkshire border ? Apart from the misplacement it is a wonderful render

If it's for a presentation of thesis and wanted to put animations with better resolution (3D Max) at Out3 Lay, where default cover sheet. Since it became clear q me can not. But now in Out3 Lay, where default display sheet, such as displaying an animation done in SketchUp, or otherwise, SketchUp architectural plans to integrate animation in full screen mode. The important thing is to have complete control integrating back or forward plans, details and animations. SketchUp me is very useful for architectural details and scaled drawings, I can manipulate in real time, but wanted to integrate higher-resolution animations, if anyone has used any other presentation software. Please tell your experience´ thanks

Hi there! this is a quick "what happend" post. For those who cares. Kristian Zagar aka "bagar" in his last year of studies at The game assembly (http://www.thegameassembly.com/) in Malmö/Sweden. His a top student and his team Fat unicorn games(http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fat-Unicorn-Games/154568334564658) got contacted by riot games to discuss hiring. I did not get in to that class thow. But that made sence, Im not realy that kind of artist. But I started with a course for application dev, and will soon start on a company that makes games for facebook and more. (I got the assignment to make Bagars Portfolio on the web, I will post a simple site soon)

This is great work. I have to argue the "poser" comment. I think the people placed in these images look quite natural. The second image shows people sitting and talking. The are well placed. The colors are a bit saturated but not too bad. Nice renders. Scott

I need to try and remember to post more here. Anyway, thanks Meaker. I've actually seen that site before. I'm trying to strike a careful balance, by taking as few liberties with the science aspect of the series as possible, while still doing some of the specific ideas I want to see in the series. So, I want it to be more realistic then the average sci-fi you see on tv and film, but at the same time not get so bogged down by the science that the story I want to tell gets lost. So when I do step outside the bounds of science, I try to take very small steps. This is equally true for the military aspect of the series as well. I often tend to think of this as more of a story about the military then I do it being science fiction, so in that regard I want it to be respectful of the military and not just mindless sci-fi violence. So here's something new. Triple Threat Defense.
