    After changing several PMs with Box we identified the problem that it was with the URLs containing subdomains. The subdomain system is obsolete at SketchUcation since we set up the new site. However after the switchover to the new site we set up redirects for these subdomain URLs but the usage of them is contraindicated. So a link to this topic correctly is: sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=53554 not the old URL what would be: forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=53554 However both works but the usage of the first is recommended as the second one is a redirected URL. Thank you to everybody for their contribution in this topic and the PMs.

    Thanks mate. I had completely disabled ABP while testing and still the ads were blocked. Maybe it was a cache thing.

    @mwm5053 said: Yes I see them now in my Spam folder. Thank you very much for checking it. I have to admit that I don't really know why it lands in the spam folder of some email clients. I will investigate and if there is a solution for that at server-side I'll do that. Until then I'm sure a filter or whitelist setting at your side will help to receive them to the right folder,

    From the source code: <span class="syntaxdefault"></span><span class="syntaxkeyword"><!</span><span class="syntaxdefault">DOCTYPE&nbsp;html&nbsp;</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">PUBLIC&nbsp;</span><span class="syntaxstring">"-//W3C//DTD&nbsp;XHTML&nbsp;1.0&nbsp;Transitional//EN"&nbsp;"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">>&nbsp;<br /><</span><span class="syntaxdefault">html&nbsp;xmlns</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">=</span><span class="syntaxstring">"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"&nbsp;</span><span class="syntaxdefault">dir</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">=</span><span class="syntaxstring">"ltr"&nbsp;</span><span class="syntaxdefault">lang</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">=</span><span class="syntaxstring">"en-gb"&nbsp;</span><span class="syntaxdefault">xml</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">;</span><span class="syntaxdefault">lang</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">=</span><span class="syntaxstring">"en-gb"</span><span class="syntaxkeyword">><br />&nbsp;</span><span class="syntaxdefault"></span> I wonder what Google Translate uses to determine the language of the website?

    Gaieus, Thank you for your very clear answer. It was not so much as impatience, as perplexity. To me, it was those I had asked, "How do I copy an object in Sketchup, rather than move it?", and having over 50 people read the question, without getting a single answer. You could avoid problems like this very easily: whenever someone clicks on a disabled button, display an explanation for why they cannot make that selection.

    When I get reply notifications from the scketchucation forum in my iphone mail app, and I click on the link to see the latest reply etc. It sends me to Safari... it would be nice to have another link that would open the tapatalk app. Maybe it exists and I don't know how? Thanks!

    Problem appears to be solved. I am on Firefox. I cleared my cache. Back to the white buttons. Thanks.

    Hehe. No, really, this was an important and valuable feedback. It somehow slipped through our attention while making the changes. The sooner we realize the problem the better as later we can forget what steps were made when and detect what went wrong much harder.

    Seems to have gone away for me ... my gratitude to the admins. I appreciate the SUcation site and community and understand that you need to generate advertising revenue (and think that your approach is most always pretty sound). So, if it just came up on the initial login or some such, that would be OK. But it came up at every page refresh, or page change and occupied the center of the screen, requiring a finger tap each time.

    Well, what will (or might) be done during that development, is still open but thanks for the report, Dan: I have now completely removed this experimental goldilocks code to fix the plugin index.

    I certainly see no impact to the regular forum. In fact regular membership uptake is higher than ever. Most don't need to participate because the answer is already here in some form. Google Analytics is showing very healthy activity throughout the site.

    "Log me in automatically" (aka "Remember me") is set in the cookie. So if you choose to delete all cookies when closing the browser session (I would no blame you - knowing that Facebook cookies keep tracking your web "experience" even after logging out), you delete this "info" as well. In most browsers there is a possibility to set what cookies NOT to delete. It's your interest - and responsibility - which sites to trust or not to trust (to keep them).

    Unfortunately the forum software is programmed to redirect you to the board index after logging in. If you log in anywhere else on the site, it will keep you on the page you logged in (so yes, we thought of it when developing the site but could not hack the forum software itself).
