well, it is kind of it, but im thinking what if the note is changed by the parts name that produced by cutlist plugins, so we will see C-001, C-002, instead of we making it manually on our object, don't you think it will be easier to find the component on the drawing that way dave?

hi Dave, just wondering if there is any possibility that Cutlist Plugin could link the part name into the model itself, so we can have an automated text to the model just like "Stray Lines by Chris Fullmer" did? i think if its possible, it will make an easier way to understanding of the drawing between the draftsman to the worker..

off course after selecting the face you need to open window > entity info
and with this plugin http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=11745, you can easily jump to other unit format to find out your measure.. but currently it has problem on showing the icon on SU v.7 and above.. maybe somebody can help this issue..

yes, i know this furniture i made before we know the cutlist plugin, it is made to fit naming on the calculation sheet at my office, and yes it is not precise, since my boss are always want our piece of cut was including the waste on the jointing process..

Hence i know, and will starting to rebuild it all over from beginning again, i think your previous post asking my old question about tips on using cutlist plugins.

im using xp sp2, and su 7.1, the tool actually already perfectly functional, just the icon not showed up..
already try to change the address on the script, but it still not working.

Have the same problem here also, the function was working perfectly, but the icon are invisible.. need some advice, please...

First i want to say that this cutlist plugin was really really helpful to us the wood worker.

But i have a request, is it possible in the next release the developer could have option to enable or disable the measure on the output list (ex: we use centimeter on our drawing and when i hit run on the plugin, the result is always come out with this format 123.0cm), which if we transfer it to excel file, it will be easier to do formula without the measure attach to the number, i mean if we were have that measure we must delete it one by one and manually..

Hopefully you can get what my point is, and hopefully there is any solution for this

im using the same version as you used, and yes i've been thru that issue before, but there is a way just like thom already told you to keep the setting saved.

PS: im still stick with this version, coz, i think this version is still the simplest and stabil of the VFSU, just leak of IES feature, that is very significant..
