In SU17 it exports entire model instead of just active entities
You can have it work with SU 2015, that's it, so far no update for latest sketchup from thom2.

The Visualizer website is down! Does anyone have a list of enhanced material names for the different reflection levels?
I only remember gloss and matte
I recall paint plastic / metal somewhere...
thanks-heaps!
Hi Spade,
it's still there, check out this link: http://getvisualizer.com/blog/enhanced-materials.html

Hi Driven,
Interesting suggestions, but I don't think they are a better workaround then rendering Visualizer twice.
In fact, making an alpha channel outside of Visualizer may result in some edge mismatch.
The creation of the alpha channel in Visualizer was refined to the point where compositing in paint software like Gimp or Photoshop works without any edge fringing.willanie
Got it Willanie, thanks for your information

Hi Willanie,
Just want to confirm about transparent background saving, when reduce noise and suppress speckle activated, i unable to save the transparent background. Is it just me or it's from visualizer v1.3?

Rick.
Hi Rick,
Mind to shared us about the render engine you use, and what time it takes to render it?

The most powerful rendering engine is NOT V-Ray, it's Photoshop!
Kind of agree with Valero statement here..

Done in Renderin + PS for Color Tone
or this one, Vis Map 2 by Martin Rinehart:

and Vis Map Pro by the same author:

regards,
Congrats for your first interior render..
Its looking nice already, but maybe if the light edge have a bit softness and the curtain was a better model, the render will look better
keep it up..

Good thread - like seeing the different styles/rendering engines.
indeed.. i'd love to see all the render that provides for SU..(i know it's a long listing) but it will be very fun..
unity in diversity
regards,
using Renderin, no post pro, everything pretty much what is existing on the file, just touch it with reflection and refraction only, for night scene added illumination on existing spot light and adding pool light.
Rendered on my AMD Dual Core 2.61 GHz, 1 GB RAM (pretty cheap old spec here)
regards,
this is trully art.. can't even say a word about it.. just and
it's open new knowledge on how useful sketchup is.
salute to the artist..

Dear SU User,
This was an old job, re-render it with Renderin V2 and some PP for final touch.
Feel free to drop some comment..

Hi John,
Maybe you need to lower your ambient occlusion value (radius & amount), or increase ambient occlusion subdivs value to 32 or more, if you have fast computer.
I'm suspecting it is the ambient occlusion effect behavior.
