ahe thats it Gaieus, thats the topic i was thinking about and I forgot that it was more of a service you pay for and thats why I never used it. At least now I dont have to pull my hair out trying to find it. Im gonna try a few of the suggestions and see how that turns out. Thanks guys.

i agree with david's comment - the cantilever at the top of the entry is a strange brick condition

the second image looks awesome - like some 70's building was retrofit with a new screen on the outside

Great help guys, I got them working now. This is a pretty good ap. considering how SU can barely handle 3D vegetation. I know xfrog can work but that still kills most computers. THanks again

Much appreciation for Myron, I would definately say he had a part in that game one way or another. Solo, the game was surely one of the best ive ever experienced...if your guys can get their s$&t figured out and get T.O. the hell out of there, they will be far better. It is a shame they were not able to utilize Williams at all. But, have faith because they are "Americas Team" right? Or did that change to the Steelers...? Steelers Nation, woooo. Haha 😉

Thanks for the feedback. I have to admit that these were all accurate suggestions so I tried to edit the image a little more. Hope it looks a lil better?

nice.. good job with the sun animation.. like that alot.... just need to get rid of the jerky sketchup-esque camera movements 😕 are you using any ruby's for the camera?

First, I would go to this link and go through the basic training of learning after effects.

Because, if you dont, then you may not know what I am going to explain.

But what you need to do is create a new composition and then import all your scenes into the project, but make sure when you do that, that you import them as a sequence (there should be a little check box for this when look to find your files for the import). Then you need to drag this from your project panel to your composition. After you do that, you need to render/export your animation. I typically use quicktime movies. Like I said, watch the training, because that will definately explain this more clearly than I can. If there is anyhthing else I can help with, just let me know.

Great and bad news at the same time. I wish we had it now but its good to know that it is coming. Will you be able to render these animations with some of the plugins like vray or podium?

Its a pity you didn't correct the verticals like pmiller suggested.. it makes it look as though the building is falling backwards.. If you look at any architectural visualisation done by big names this will always be corrected 😉

In general though, great stuff.. prefer the second one over the first as that reflection is really distracting.

If you can use a 64bit OS. If current software solutions at your office doesn't allow it, ensure that the hardware is 64bit capable in case you can upgrade later. Working with 3D rendering will quickly eat up your memory, if can go 64 bit then do it. (I'm now talking generally, not for just SketchUp.) The next Photoshop that's to be released soon will finally have 64bit support

Vray is a rendering plugin used for sketchup. It is similar to the vray plugin for 3d max but a little toned down from what I understand. But you can use SU materials or you can use vray materials...whichever ones you use, you will still need to tweak them cause they need different characteristics to look like what you want. I usually combine the two. Just google vray for sketchup and u will find out a lot more about it. Try checking out podium too...much easier to learn at first.
