yea got a 8800gtx card, got also an intelli mouse. Yea here in SA is this the most common thing in the shops...so we just grab that. But 90% of the time its fine...then one day just come and it gives you this...kinda funny..never ever happened to me till one day...boom. su 7 do the same thing. Havent check my home pc but office wise it looks like it might be only here, thanx will have a look at that

Hi people,

Able to replace the texture of a object without upsetting the Mapping.

But if I duplicate that object, I am unable to assign a different/separate/unique texture where each object can be assigned a different texture image jpeg. I am unable to DE-LINK the image textures of the two objects.

Pls Note: I am able to do this only by applying the texture image as a fresh unmapped material and then fix the mapping all over again.

Hi all, has anyone out there been able to get "Follow Me Rotate" to work on SU17.
I have tried many different downloads but no luck yet.

As soon as you take another tool, you freeze the previous on the screen! 😮
So you can only save it as a 2D image or 2D.5 file 😉 (3D object are only save by Tool/save ❗
If you want now save (or export) your previous 3D object, just click it in the Tool box, and save ( or export it)! ☀

NM, I found a way by making my object a component and set it to snap to any surface.

See if you could make a ruby that makes windows open underneath your mouse cursor by pressing the appropreate shortcut, it will mean someone will go further with this rubie and make other windows work alike. Some prefer it to have windows open some prefer it stacked or even closed to make more space for your workspace if you dont have 2 screens to put the other pallets on. i just used the soften tool as an example but hey you could use this then on any window. Take for example, you draw a cube, have m for material pallette. you want to fill it with a texture. You press m and it appears where you are currently working and at your cursor. Maybe it would be good to have a auto close function after using the pallette.Anyway, this is just a request, see how far people can develop this idea. 😄]

Cinema 4D is a great program that can not only animate quite well, it can also render well too. It is a bit like max but I find it far easier to learn. I have not used it in a while (just have not needed it) but I would say it will work for what you are looking for and give far better results than any of the other recommendations. Granted it is a bit of change but I think in the long run it will be the right choice.
