well. . im back and it seems to be working ,,, i mean ive changed my model of document, and shadows are moving .. i got the intensity tthing .. when we use phisical camera , light gets more sensible right ? Or im wrong again ? Well all i know it that im use values like 0.003 at skylight intensity !!
Thank you u one more time !!
you can also try this one:
on the vray options under GLOBAL SWITCHES uncheck the default light and hidden lights
on th CAMERA turn on Physical camera and change the shutter speed to 300 and the Film speed (ISO) into 100.. you can now adjust your shadows using Shadows on SU
EDIT:oops, sorry wrong info.. i tried rendering it once ive changed the shadows by adjusting the time, though the shadows moved, but not in the render in vray..
you can save single workspace, but can't save multiple workspace..

What V-Ray for Sketchup do you have? The original - or one of the service packs?
Have you downloaded the manual for the version you have?
this is the manual that i downloaded sir: http://www.scribd.com/doc/7253631/VRay-for-SketchUp-Manual i dont know what version this manual is for.. nothings written about the version, but i can somehow keep up with it now.

The black rectangle that you see, it's the back of the light. Try to rotate it. Or you can make it double-sided. About the multiplier, that depends basically of the physical camera. First disable it, make your scene to look right(illumination) and then, turn on physical camera, and start increasing the multiplier of the light, until you get the same effect. That should give you an idea about how much you have to push the multiplier when you have physical camera on.
Good luck!
now i get it! is that rectangle light and emmisive layer on materials has the same effect on physical camera? you have to enter and enter numbers on the multiplier until you make it glow? thanks!! that was helpful!
here's the manual.. but then again.. i think its me that can't keep up with what it says on the rectangular light part. can anyone with the same manual teach me how to properly adjust a rectangular light?
here's a vray manual i downloaded. can anyone recommend a much more useful vray manual that i can download? i tried the part where you use a rectangular light (page 15 onwards).. and all i get is black plane. when i checked here at sketchucation some issues other users had about the rectangular light, ive figured that in order to have a rectangular light lit up, its multiplier should be 300, the manual says you can adjust it from 1-4 and get a "light" effect. and all i had was a black plane. so from there, i've had a doubt on using this manual if it really is the real thing. im really eager to learn how to render properly here at vray for sketchup. my sketchup version is 7 and my vray version is for skp6. that's compatible right?
hi SilverShadow! raises his three thumbs up for your work.
how exactly did you shape those rock fences? and the water part? can you post a tutorial on those two? thanks.

... modeling irregular shapes ...
for modeling freeform surfacres I would use an appropriate tool, e.g. a NURBS surface based modeler as e.g. ViaCAD/Shark, especially if you need exact and editable faces (or volumes).
hth,
Norbert
too bad i only use PlugIns that are free to download. but thanks anyways.

Sir Gaieus
Firstly, don't call him that. We know he's good but the server wouldn't be able to store his head.
Second....
suggest you look into soapskin and bubble and the freescale plugins.
http://www.tensile-structures.de/sb_software.html = Soapskin
http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=17948&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=Freescale = Freescale
Trial and error the combination until you get what you are after.
