I wasn't sure if there was a way to just paste it directly into the post editor on the forum. This method works just fine.

I hit the print screen button, but not sure how to post it after I do that.
Thanks Dave,
The fresh install worked. As to being able to insert a screen grab, can you point me to the info on how to do it?
There are times I must use SU 2013 because of a purchased plugin that is not supported for SU 2014.
When I launch the plugin store in SU 2013, I get the following message
the value of the "logincookieproperty" is null or undefined, not a function object.
I have chrome as the default browser.
Also, I would post a screen grab, but I do not know how to do it. Could someone help with that?
I had similar issues with Instant Roof Pro. The author in private message indicated he was not going to address compatibility issue with 2014. Instead, I believe he is solving the issue with a subscription based plugin leaving his pro purchasers having to use SU2013 or earlier. Found this out with less than a year of using Instant Roof Pro. Great Plugin, but lousy support.

I upgraded my AutoCAD LT license to the Inventor LT Suite which bundles AutoCAD LT and Inventor LT. The upgrade price to the Inventor LT Suite was a few dollars less than the price to upgrade just to AutoCAD LT. Not sure why. So now I have a bare bones parametric modeler in my tool kit.
I model in SU and use LO to create perspective views of my work - something that AutoCAD LT of course can't do. But for any work that's 2D the dimensioning and annotation capabilities of AutoCAD LT are so far in advance of LO that there's no reason to use it.
Where did you purchase upgrade? I can not find this option.

I recently bought Acad LT; the subscription fee is three times what I pay for SU but at least I can see a return on investment with industry standard DWG collaboration, hatching that works, accurate circles and numerous 2D function that make LO look like a "blunt stick".
Not to mention LO dimensioning is still woeful compared to ACAD LT, but then again, I seem to be the only one who gripes about LO dimensioning capabilities, so it's no surprise that I still cannot produce the documents I need to produce with just a SU/LO workflow.
BTW, blunt stick seems to be a generous analogy.
I have read the recommendation to use the Plugin Store to install "fresh" copies of extensions, which is ok, but what about the plugins from Smustard
Like the Make Faces plugin in particular
How are the plugins that were simply dropped into a plugins folder installed now?
I have an instant roof plugin from Vali Architects (that I purchased) that cannot be loaded at this time.
Any ideas?
In the first posted image , the pair on the right looks like the door is swinging in, and the exit/panic devices are too pristine for anything remotely "dark". In an apocalyptic landscape, I'm imagining hardware that would probably be hanging off the door with a seriously pitted or corroded finish.
Happy modeling.
Thanks Box,
Checked settings and all is correct. Thinking middle button is toast.
Happy New Year All!
I was using it with windows driver first, then tried manuf. driver, neither works.
The wheel works for scrolling in other programs, but when I press it in SU, the orbit feature does not activate.
I am using a Logitech M505 mouse. The mouse seems to be operating properly except that the feature of depressing the scroll wheel does not activate the orbit tool. Is there a setting in SU that can be checked or unchecked to activate/de-activate this feature? Or is it possibly something I have to set in the device driver?
Want to make sure before I buy another mouse.
Thanks Rich,
I have a friend who is learning revit. I'll send him the file and see if he could export to something usable. I'll post results here when I find out.
Thanks Rich,
Can a revit user convert a .rfa file to a SU usable format?
What is a .rfa file?
And is there a way for SU to import a .rfa file?
I downloaded a wall mount toilet model from a manufacturer and it is a .rfa file type. They do not offer anything else.
I upgraded from 8pro to 2013pro and my licensing info showed up in about 3 minutes, I heard the horror stories similar to yours, but my experience was uneventful in a pleasant way.
If there is a phone-in option, do that.
Thanks a bunch Kris!
Thanks Rich,
Now, since I'm being dense this morning, is the "one year of major version upgrades" basically the same as "SU 2014" (major release) as Norbert states, or does it pertain to any major changes/fixes over the next calender year?
