1/ Align view for some specific face.
      2/ Create a scene.
3/ Apply script- get black hole sun.
4/ Update scene- darkness stays on (see attachment BEFORE clicking "scene 4")
5/ Closing- reopening- restoring specific scene- everything is OK (click scene 4 tab)

In this case restoring scene1 repairs everything but very often only tweaking location degree helps. I thought it's a video card issue but it jumps out on different PCs. ๐Ÿ˜•

    • RE: Elev45shadows.rb help

The same here. The cure is to change location degree a little bit (+-1).But If you'd fix this right state by creating a page it wouldn't remember right shadow position
Stop using this .rb is better solution.
Even more: I guess the shadow stuff is the most stinky part of SU: the pages don't remember shadow position, after export-import pages (exim.rb) your skp file get into twilight zone- no shadows at all,
      codec tragedy etc ๐Ÿคข

    • RE: [POLL]: If SU 7 will not have multicore/high poly support

@Kwist: Read between the lines. If 2 the closest to dev camp guys ~1-3(?) month before v7 say "basically everything is ok- just turn off profiles,SU is meant to be lo-poly modeller"- this is a bad indication. Passover to cinema if hi-poly support is the key stone. What smily to drop here? ๐Ÿ˜’
P.S. I'd be glad to be wrong though- SU speed outweigh (meanwhile) all it's issues

With pre-drowed lines extrude lines.rb is better choise imho

You have not the drawing of the dashed axis line ๐Ÿ˜‰
And you have a thickness with extrude simple lines โ“ And a wall โ“

Pardon, I meant extrude along path .rb (of TIG i beleive).
I'm afraid the wink about dashed line I didn't understand. What do you mean?

Double click for close is neat idea though I couldn't manage to get good result- it's a bit messy.

When you say multi-core support what do you mean? Do you mean for exporting video and images? As far as I understand its impossible to make the modeller itself use more than one core and there are no modelers out there that does that.

Second about that. Multicore is for rendering process only AFAIK.

      Hi Tomot!
Can you switch to "cut window" gluing components not groups as the result?
There's Didier Bur's ruby to cut thick wall. Even more you could
      unite 2 scripts.

      I'm sorry I don't understand your comments.
and can you be more specific: what are the exact names
of the scripts you are taking about?

      Hi!
Your tools produce groups not components. Correct?
Components instead of groups are better idea IMHO.
Components with "cut opening" and "glue to any plane" (to cut a single plane-wall) would be the best. (See components-architecture-
      windows for instance).

Generally the letters are bad idea.
Could it be just cntl click for for close?

    • RE: [Plugin] Double line

I was missing this tool. Many thanks indeed!
      Some minor problems:
1/ Sometimes it refuses to make "walls" after tracing over existing lines.
2/ Sometimes it it makes negative Z height.
3/ Could the last parameters input be remembered?

Could there be option to get vertical (along world z axis) not perpendicular "wall" to sloped face?...with sloped\terraced
upper cap to keep average height? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
