No-no-no. I'm talkin about right hemisphere's deep exploration and it's .skp->.max prosedure.

I have some problems with exporting of skp components into max. The only oneinstance keeps assigned materials all the rest instacies have default mat."Collapse hierarchy" (in DE) solves the problem but kills relations.
Any ideas?

There's a huge problem on after-export phase (you know big files,textures, shadows on,etc..)- the program is clinically dead 
. My thought about some ruby that would turn the shadows off+ get into the wireframe mode automatically after every image export. What do you think?

PS Dale could you add create section cuts from multiplesections all together at once?
well I tried their .3ds export with 2 simple cubes (components).
The plug-in complained that it can't be exported because they're components
and I'd explode them before.
I uninstalled it instead (which imho is a much more productive idea)

I have PLENTY 2d components laying in xy plane. Could anybody create a routine that'd make them (by mouse click):
1/ arise (to zx plane)
2/comp. origin to middle bottom point
3/ become "always face camera".
4/ ask about "shadows follow the sun" option.
I guess it'd be pretty usefull thing for many other users.

Hi Tony! Thanks for advice but unfortunatly ThumbsUp.dll registering didn't help (tried both: filemenutools & 2nd link cure).
P.S. Uninstalling SU5 solved the first problem. )

Please add a favorites (windows favorites) button to all save,open,export,etc dialog windows.Please do it.
I have 40+ projects in local network and favorites button in ACAD for example does help a lot.

I've just found a hidden(for me) feature: inserting some munbers with comma (4,5,8 for example) in columns and rows fields make some irregular type of mullioning. But I simply don't understand the logic of the result. And is there any?
It's a simple ussue. To solve it
1/ add scene
2/ use cameraLines.rb (it connects camera with its target by line)
3/ extrudelne.rb(?) to make prism
4/ and finally section glued to the face.
