right. Another thing I just think is that Win 7 requires more sources. It's minimum ram requirements is i guess 1 gb. on the other hand XP needs less resoures. It's lighter too. Then how come windows 7 will perform better? It will use more ram. On the other hand XP will use less RAM. The remaining RAM will be used by renderings and SketchUp. Isn't it

Well, that card should do it (in fact, that card is a fairly good one which makes me jealous)..
which card you have Gaieus?

The place where I have seen performance issues has been related to graphic card hardware or drivers.
well that must be the case. What exactly have you seen. I mean were the graphic drivers out of date or what?
I'm using Win Xp Pro SP 3. I have seen good performance of sketchup on sp3 and even on sp2 on
%(#0000BF)[**--**a machine having a core 2 duo processor, 4gb ram
**--**a machine having core 2 quad proecessor, 2gb ram]
also good performance on a machine having
**--**a machine having core 2 quad proecessor, 2gb ram, windows vista 32 bit
But unfortunately. I have seen SketchUp perform slow on a system that has
Core i5, 4gb ram, Windows 7 64 bit, lots of free hard disk space, all the necessary drivers installed, no unncessary software. It was a clean system, with no viruses. In fact all of the tested system were free of viruses.
What seems to be the case.?? My peers also say that windows 7 64 bit performs slower than the 32 bit version.
Although, what logics say that Windows 7 64 bit on a good machine should have the best performance of SketchUp which I haven't seen in reality [in front of my eyes ]

Install and try. If it doesn't work I'll tell you.
SketchUp requirements seem to only mention .NET Framework 2.0 - http://sketchup.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=36208
just uninstalled .net 4. from my machine. It was causing problems with system startup. The icons didn't appear. I used to open windows task manager, do the end process for explorer.exe. Then the icons and the taskbar appeared. I guess .net 4 has some issues with 2. I have only version 2 installed. It was also installed before i installed ver. 4.
Hi
I just got my pc formatted. I had .net framework 3.5 earlier. I'm gonna install .net framework 4. Is .net framework 4 compatible with sketchup. And if i have .net 4 do I require .net 3.5?
really nice work. Which podium version have you used?

I personally use the "DownThemAll" plug-in for firefox, it usually works fine, However, I have never tested it within a Google search ... google usually provides links to the webpages and not to the images themselves ...
tried downthemall, it just downloads the thumbnails that show up.

If it's bad 4 health. [alcohol damages health, that's a fact], even then i shd go 4 it?. so you have consumed beer a lot of times, you haven't had any health problems yet?. well that's a cumulative effect of alcohol that damages you. but even then is it worth taking the smallest damage?

According to many medical professionals, drinking beer causes impotence, cholera, spastic colon syndrome, leprosy, scurvy, shingles, consumption, dissentry, trench foot, pink eye, ringworm, and explosive diarrhea. However, these same medical professionals also drink beer, and therefore cannot be trusted.
so should I go for it or not And all the above people who have answered my query do you drink beer or any alcoholic drink? If yes then how often

Pilou, that will (probably) save all the thumbnails Google generates on the image search page. What I guess is that Rock1 would want to save the original (size) images.
obviously yeah man that's exactly i want the original source images.
Is there a way to download all the images google images search shows up on one page [in basic version]. For example if I'm searching "Apollo 11 Mission", the search shows up a lot of results. I want to download all the images that Google is showing on page 1. The normal way is to go to each image and download it one by one. Is there a way to download all the images on page 1 in one go?
I've just subscribed to this topic. Will I get an email update when a new plugin is released and the list of plugins here is updated?
