I was quite tame compared to you lot but some stuff that comes to mind; Age 8, scout camp: We had a butane stove that wouldn't light so we figured the gas cylinder might be empty. I tested it by holding a lit match to the cylinder tap and turned it expecting the flame to get a bit bigger if there was any gas left. Impressively the whole gas cylinder caught alight and started rolling around. It came to rest at the side of our tent which caught alight too. Teenage highlights; Regularly used to climb a tree in order to jump over a large barbed wire fence that seperated us from the posh girls school. We did climbing and abseiling at school which was foolish on the schools part as my friends and I used to do "homework". Freestyle quarry climbing was always quite popular. Various painful bicycle accidents, often as a result of drinking beer and then holding onto a motorbike to pick up speed... Starting fires. Small rural bonfires that used to suddenly set fire to everything around them. We were experts at beating out fires with blankets.

Nn, i havent tried that yet, i'll give it a go next time i boot up. Although you can do this for lots of distros, this one's just very nice in it's simplicity. You jsut have to tell it where to find the fedora liveCD and where your USB is and it will go. Good for the stupid folk like me

This doesn't look hard at all, Remus: http://lifehacker.com/software/hack-attack/build-a-hackintosh-mac-for-under-800-321913.php I've built more elaborate computers and set up odder software. It seems like someone else has already done all the hard tweaking. You know, an Apple Store just opened down the street. It's wall-to-wall-to-glass-staircase in expensive, attitude-laden minimalist hardware...I'm really tempted to make one of these Frankensteins just to--metaphorically of course--stick my finger in Mr. Job's eye.

Anssi, I think the question is regarding exporters available in SU Pro and not SU Free. Emulating existing SU functionality that would normally only be available in the Pro version and making it available for Free users. There have been a few functions emulated for Free that is normally only available in Pro, another (apart from those already mentioned) is the ability to set location and set the North angle.

@rodentpete said: @remus said: Organic apples all the way All apples are organic - so are all plants, animals and plastics. (I get irritated by the 'organic' buzzword ) You're mixing chemistry and farming terminology. Organic chemistry is anything involving carbon compounds, as noted above. Organic farming is a practical and philosophical methodology of food production that used to include caring for the long term health of the land, local production to reduce the transport time of foodstuffs as well as the no synthetic pesticides and fertilisers approach. Ever since big farming companies got involved the first few bits of the philosophy seem to have been ignored by most of the market. I don't go for the woo part of organic food but I certainly approve of the "care for your land's long term health" bit. And I'm quite certain that locally produced food will usually be better than that transported across huge distances and stored for long periods. Luckily for me I have farm just a mile down the road from which I can get almost all my veg. There really isn't anything better tasting than veg that was cut just half an hour ago. As long as you don't hear the screams of the carrots in your sleep..

i think i can see where your comign from there pav, simple yet effective And as for being a bit weird, of course it is, every object has a different meaning to everyone who uses it, and so lots of people will attacha major significance to some seemingly insignificant things.
