Paul, If it's not bust don't fix it !!! Your DoorMaker script is really good now - doesn't really need to be touched. ... If you've got creative energies to spare... What would be really good would be a WindowMaker script that works in a similar way to your DoorMaker script. I'm aware of the Windowizer script which is pretty good. However, the window geometry is only correct when viewed from one side and needs to be finished off manually from the unfinished side. (Still quicker than creating a window from scratch). ... DoorMaker was written in 2007 for Google SketchUp. The thread shows an update suitable for Sketchup 2014. I am using the last freestanding 2017 version. What must be updated for me to use DoorMaker? I am a savvy woodworking; not a ruby programmer. Help please? WoodChipz newby (sorta)

yeah that is how i would normally have acheived this, but i find it can be rather messy, not to mention time consuming. i have just tried this method out, and as far as i can tell, as long as the road doesn't have vastly differeing topography, it is more effective. of course it is always useful to have more than one method in your sketchup arsenal. he he pav
