I dunno about newbies. I usually take something away, or get reminded, that's why I check in so often

Hello everybody
Just wandering if it is possible to use the native rectangle tool
to draw from center point out, as is with the circle tool, or if there is a plugin that can do this.
Thanks for any help.

I think i agree completely with that, and i am going to send it to Lynda.com.
I would also want to plead with our Guru Thomas Thomassen to give this a thought.(Assuming he has that kind of time on his hands)

This building was modelled in SU, exported to STL then 3D printed. It's about 1 ft high and the windows are inset about 1mm.
I don't think the actual modelling in SU will be much of a problem...especially now with the new Solid Tools (which I didn't have for the Chrysler Bldg).
.... can you please give me the details of the 3d printer that was used for the model, also will like to know if we can export straight from sketchup?
Thanks
Hi Charly
Thanks a million for that.
You just saved me a whole night work.
I have been playing with the rails to loft, instead of the lattice,
I have done as instructed and it worked like magic.
Thanks
